**** Juicy is changing the tags again!! If someone has any pics of the new tags (brown/pink) please post them here******
How to spot fake Juicy Couture:
This is a basic guide to help you spot fake Juicy Couture clothing (Well, if we really want to get specific, women’s track suits, as I have no idea about denim). I am in no means an expert; I’m just slightly obsessed with the brand and own several of the track suit sets. If anything in this guide is wrong/misleading feel free to correct me at any time. I’m also working on the pictures, so bare with me.
All Juicy Couture Clothing tags are color coded according to size:
X Large - Light Blue
Large - Green
Medium - Beige
Small - Orange
Petite (X Small) - Pink

This is the easiest way to spot a fake. Most fake tags are orange. New Juicy tags will have a TM at the end of the scroll on the right side. New Juicy tags will have a (R) in the scroll after “JUICY COUTURE.”
A Note on Juicy Sizing:
Juicy generally runs small, and it’s extremely important to try on a couple Juicys before hitting Ebay. The sizing charts for the sweat pants are pretty accurate:
(Women’s)
X Large - 14
Large – 10 / 12
Medium – 6 / 8
Small – 2 / 4
Petite (X Small) – 0
The hoodies once again, run small, and are cut/designed for tall, slim frame. If you have any semblance of curves, you’ll generally need to buy larger sizes. Case and point: I’m a small in most women’s tops, but I’m an XL/L in Juicy hoodies. If you are having trouble finding a larger size, try Juicy’s maternity, where the sizes start out much bigger (Although, you’ll probably have to buy them directly from a department store/creditable website, as they are harder to find on Ebay).
Brand New With Tags:
Juicy tags are GOLD (Well, you could even say they’re a metallic-y yellow), but not matte yellow. Most fake tags are easy to spot. Keep a set of authentic tags for reference.
REAL:

Zipper Style:
This is also very important when buying Juicy off of Ebay. Some of the Juicy is an older style of zipper. Old styled zippers are not necessarily fake, but I wouldn’t recommend buying them, as everyone else will think they are fake. Old zippers have a loop directly on top of the ‘J’. New zippers are hanging from piece of recessed metal attached to a loop. Old zippers were discontinued in 2004; so many older styles will have that zipper. Oh, and new zippers will have YKK on the back.

Pants:
Juicy Couture sweat pants are cut very wide and long. Fakes are often cut narrower. A tell-tale sign of a fake is the ‘Protect Your J Zipper’ tag. There is no J zipper on pants, so therefore, it’s a fake. Another sign of a fake is a short tag. Underneath the colored Juicy tag, there is a white tag underneath. Most fakes have short tags, while the authentic tags are longer.

LOVE P&G, G&P:
Older Juicy hoodies/tags will say “LOVE P&G.” But, Juicy ran into some problems with Proctor and Gamble, so new juicy hoodies/tags will read “LOVE G&P.”
New Tags/Details:
More/Better photos of new Juicy tags/hardware

Spotting Fakes:
Ah, here is the fun part, spotting poorly made fakes. Here’s one example of a fake tag/zipper combo.

This is a “Petiete” hoodie with a gold (“Medium”) tag. FAKE. A Petiete should be pink, and also, the zipper style is old, and I wouldn’t recommend buying it anyway!
Ooh, this is a dead giveaway:

See that? It’s a ‘PROTECT YOUR ‘J’ ZIPPER’ tag. This also means that the included hoodie is also fake.
BEWARE:
•DON’T bid if it’s shipping from anywhere in ASIA! Especially Hong Kong.
•Beware of bad grammer: “IT‘S MATERIAL IS ROXY ?VERY SOFT? There are patterns cuff ?The length of trousers goes to the calf Sz:M” Now, what they meant to say was “This is a terry cloth Juicy Couture set, the color is Roxy. The set is very soft and the hoodie has patterned cuffs, the length of the pants go to about the calf. This set is size Medium” But, they didn’t and therefore, it’s probably some guy who doesn’t know English very well, who happens to be stationed in Hong Kong or is using someone else’s address. And for the record, that set was fake.
Tips on How to eBay Juicy:
•ALWAYS have a picture of the inside tag and zipper before you bid. This is the easiest way to spot a fake hoodie.
•Buy new styles. The earlier the hoodie, the less chance it’s been faked. New styles are also faked less than the standard terry/velour hoodie. Although I have seen new crochet hoodies that are very very fake.
•I haven’t personally seen a fake hoodie sold with the inside tag cut, so I think that it’s another positive indicator. Most fakes are BNWT so they can get the most profit.
•Ask if they know the color name. An Antibes Pink Juicy hoodie is less likely fake than a “light pink” hoodie. This works especially well if the seller swears they bought it at Nordstrom, and it didn’t fit, etc. etc. you can find a color chart online to verify.
•Don’t trust stock photos. Only bid if you have a picture of both the zipper and inside tag AT THE VERY MINIMUM.
•Don’t buy sets on eBay. Most fakes are sold in sets. But, a helpful hint is if the pieces are two different sizes (i.e. Large hoodie, medium pants). Even then, make sure you again have a picture of the zipper and inside tag on the hoodie and pictures of the inside tag on the pants.
•If you are determined to have a Juicy set, as I mentioned above, eBay may not be the best place to do so. Juicy’s come in a wide range of colors, and it would be hard to match separate pieces. Your best bet is to wait until all the major department stores have super clearance sales (like Nieman Marcus) where you can snag sets for as low as $47 for hoodies and $37 for pants (plus free ship).
