question about tricolor studded HAV2's

so, i have always love the back pockets on these jeans. The only thing holding me back was the hole in the knee area. Everyone that has them, seems to absolutely love them...SO, i have been looking for a pair.
Anyhow, i was just thinking, how do they compare in feel to regular havanas?? I ask because i put my havanas on last night, and although i love them, they really aren't a comfortable jean to hang out in for me.. The denim is too thick and stiff. Are HAV2's any softer since they are more distressed?

I have tried on HAV2 flares and they are stiff. I don't know if that helps at all.

I think it depends on the batch. I had a pair of Tri Color Studded Havanas that were soft, but I saw some at UO and they were definitely thicker/stiffer. Sorry, I know that doesn't really help!

well my havs2 are softer that my hav 1...I personally like them a lot more.

The wash of the Tri-Colors are softer than Hav1 IMO. I was worried about the hole also, but I patched it on the inside and haven't torn it yet <knock on wood>

Uh yeah patch the hole, the flare is low like the Dark HAV A pockets on me. When you bend down make sure you're not going to rip them...patching is a good idea!! Mine were somewhat stiff but they got softer with wear, but I slod them cause they were a bit snug in the calves on me.

HAV2's are softer and not as heavy as HAV1's.

I have HAV2 flares and LOVE them- they are one of my favorite pairs.
and yes, they are comfortable.

You do have to be careful if yours have a larger size hole near one knee though.

I LOVE my TriColor HAV2's. IMO they are a little softer (mine are anyway) than my HAV1's. I have ripped the knee a little more though, before I thought to patch it. They are up there with my favorite pairs.. Very flattering. You won't regret buying them, trust me.
