I think I got fake rainbows! - Page 4

The seller wrote me back - here's her response:

"Hi,
I bought these off of a seller on ebay who guaranteed authenticity or money back- when I had someone look at them after they arrived they agreed that they were in fact authentic. Those jeans that I sent you are the same ones pictured in the auction! I don't sell jeans for a living and I most definitely did not take pictures of a real pair and send you the fake ones. I don't even own another pair! I was selling these and the other pair because I needed to pay some bills and they were unfortunately a luxury I couldn't afford... I went a little crazy on ebay a few weeks ago and bought more than I could keep! I have contacted the original seller to see how we can resolve this situation."

I feel bad because I do think that she's not aware that they were fake...BUT I still want my money back, of course. I wonder what lasamplesale is going to say about her asking for her money back...

oh god I feel so bad for you. Send her this link because she's blind if she thinks those are the same jeans.

This was my response to her:
"After looking into your feedback, I assume you bought these from lasamplesale who just changed their name from kanikevolk. She/he is known in the denim circle for trying to pass off fakes for real jeans (and sometimes uses real jean pictures, like they did for your auction).

Here's a discussion on another pair that they sold: http://honestforum.com/viewtopic.php...ght=kanikevolk

So while I do understand that you will want to file a claim against them, I don't think that should hold up my refund. After I get my money back, I will be more than willing to help you with anything you need to dispute your sale. I suggest you link them to my flickr.com pictures and descriptions as evidence against them. It is clear in the pictures that the jeans that were delivered were not the ones in the auction picture.

Thanks - sorry this had to happen - but at least you know now that there are many fraudulent sellers out there and you need to be aware!"
