I think I got fake rainbows!

I bought these jeans after Leici was kind enough to PM me the auction....

Well, I got them from the post office this morning on the way to work and then I was saddened to see that these were NOT what was pictured on the auction!

Here are the ones from the auction:

These are what I got:


Back pockets of the ones from the auction:

What I got:


The front of the ones in the auction:

The ones I got - no back tag!


I'm so upset, I am getting ready to prepare my Paypal/Ebay dispute now and email the seller. Should I do my credit card chargeback at the same time or wait to see if they offer a refund? Thanks!

And as a PSA, Leici did some digging and found out that Ebay sellers lasamplesale or kanikevolk (who probably sold the jeans to her) sell fakes! Steer clear!!

do the chargeback rt now. they'll probably draw it out and in the end try and only refund the money for the jeans and keep the money from shipping, definitely do the credit card chargeback now. those are not even anything close to the pics in the auction. they were probably hoping you were some stupid buyer who wouldn't notice the difference

Don't you have to file the Paypal dispute first? If you do the chargeback now, your acct will be frozen and possibly suspended.

No, I got them from greeneyedgirl79 who appears to have a history of buying fake jeans. One of them is a pair of RR Rainbows from lasamplesale, using these exact same pictures. So my guess is that lasamplesale sent these to greeneyedgirl79, who put them right back up on auction and sent them to me.

I'm upset at myself because I always do feedback checks before I bid...but I think I was so excited that I was first in line for Leici's secret auction that I assumed they were ok.
