so after marcano suggested buying a waistband stretcher for my white leather ireland sigs and after promising aalcantara that i would try to stretch these out somehow, i have come up with my own, very ghetto, do-it-yourself waistband stretcher.
what you will need:
some hardcover textbooks
random hard knick-knacks (to maintain pressure on the jeans)
some water
the pair of sevens you desperately want to squeeze into
basically, you just wet the waistband by dampening it with a wet towel or what i actually did was dip it into a filled sink so the entire waistband was evenly wet (but not below it).
then i proceeded to insert 3 textbooks, along with other things like an eyeshadow compact, my hard glassescase, some sharpies, etc. until i was afraid a seam might pop. then i let it dry overnight - and in the morning: NO PAIN ON MY HIPBONES WHEN I SLIPPED THEM ON!
basically, what those random household items do is mimic the waistband stretcher, but if i were to do it to a second pair of jeans, i'd stick with trying to lengthen it more horizontally - so choose wider textbooks and then try to add items to the waist at the sides instead of just all over the place, the way i did. i guess it depends on which area you are trying to stretch out depending on your body, but i was just desperate to lessen the pain on my hips. ALSO, irelands are known to stretch very little, which is why i stuffed my jeans till they almost popped - if the jeans you are working with are stretchier, i recommend not stuffing them as much and doing test trials little by little until you are satisfied. if you go too far, just wash them and they'll go back to normal

so yeah, sorry for all the text, but hopefully this will work for some of you! and if it doesn't or you don't need to do this, i hope you all got a good laugh out of seeing a dictionary, textbooks, makeup compacts and other things stuffed into a pair of sevens.
