Diesel prices worldwide

I figured I'd start this so people can get some idea of how much stuff costs. Please list actual prices in local currency and convert to USD (why USD?! Are we so american-centric!? Well, we always speak english in here, so why not use USD as the currency lingua-franca also? ). In the US:

zathan 772 was $179 but is now $190
ZAF 796 is $190
Zathan 708 is (I believe) $250
Kuratt 737 is $125
Rumbum 888 is $140
ZAF 82V is $160

Great idea this thread. Now we can see where we can get the best deal. Thats handy for all Diesel lovers. The Diesel Store in Amsterdam is going to call me back in a couple of minutes with the prices ( I couldn't wait any longer :P ).
Are the prices above TAX included? I'll get them tax included.

Many states in the US do not charge any tax for clothing. In new york, where I live, you have to add 8.65% for taxes, but in PA, MA, and other states you dont have to pay tax for clothing, and anyways the sales tax varies from state to state so its not really meaningful to list that. But, to give you some idea, as far as I know, NY has the highest sales tax of any state. In MA for instance the sales tax is 5% and doesn't apply to clothing or any unprepared food. You europeans pay a LOT in taxes LOL

These are the prices I have seen recently that I can remember for the following items:

Zaf 796 £130- $245USD House of Frasier & Selfridges

Zathan 772 £130 (still!) Selfrdiges

Moorix 796 £130 Selfridges

Havnt really been shopping in a while with university deadlines, but a good thread to compare.

Wow, just on the basis of the exchange rate you brits save a TON coming over here. Do those prices include VAT/taxes?

Yes. Generally, the most popular styles of Diesels are regularly around £130 mark.

Ok, here we go.

Diesel jeans in Holland 17,5% TAX included (only for EU citizens) in USD.

Zathan 772 : $179,-
Zathan 708 : $192,-
Zathan 708 : $249,-
Rumbum 888: $128,-

Kuratt 737 : Not in production anymore, no longer carried by Diesel Amsterdam
ZAF 82V : Not in production anymore, no longer carried by Diesel Amsterdam

Interesting info if you dont live in the EU: If you bring your passport you can get the jeans at Diesel A'dam minus 17,5% in price.

So it looks like the Holland prices are IDENTICAL to the US ones. No suprise there... What were the prices in euros? Also, why the two prices for 708?
Ooooh I have to make my way to Amsterdam! Damn, you guys get Diesels for cheap including the regular 17.5% VAT on top!

Sidebar on these two points - Kuratt 737 is probably not made anymore but its EVERYWHERE still in the US stores. I wonder if maybe they never sent it to holland? Also ZAF 82V is brand new, and I've only seen it at bloomingdales so far, so I'm thinking maybe that clerk didnt know what he/she was talking about there... I wonder if the computers have the prices in there for the models not in the store anymore?

Zathan 772 : $179,- E.139
Zathan 796 : $192,- E.149
Zathan 708 : $249,- E.194
Rumbum 888: $128,- E.99

Yeah seems you were right. I'm really surprised here right now. Maybe i was still thinking at the Guilder prices (that was also the period i lived in the us and compared stuff). When existing in the EU was cheaper.... My mistake.

rabox (cant remember wash: $380AUD (294USD)

cant remember the other ones they had, but they were all priced at $350AUD+ each....

the only diesel store in australia is in sydney which i have never been to, so i dont know what prices they have there

He told me they used to have them, but his computer said: No longer in factory production. He only could see prices of jeans they are selling at the moment.

After hearing so many people on this board for months complain about how diesel is so much cheaper in the US when they visit, and from my own travels in europe, I knew that it couldn't be cheaper in Holland, at least not significantly. I'm actually quite surprised that they aren't more expensive over there actually. The US has basically the lowest taxes on stuff like clothing of any country, with the possible exception of places like china which are communist!

China doesnt sell diesel. Probably too Western for them.

Looks like you could save a little by taking the train over to holland! Smoke some nice grass while you're there too.... Are the zathan 84R really that inexpensive? I thought they'd be more.

here in japan, i dont think diesels are sold anywhere else other than the official store owned by diesel (aside from very few online boutiques). we got like 20+ shops on a land about the size of CA so it's not really a problem though. here are the prices in USD that i can remember

zaf 796 $290
zathan 768 $312
zathan 708 $360
lemmen 82M $380

basically they would be around $300 mark. limited models would be higher, naturally. just a little trivia that tax is same everywhere within the country and often included in the price shown on the tag

Canada:

Zathan 772 = $325 = $264 USD
Zaf 796 = $275 = $225 USD
Lemmen 82H = $400 = $325 USD

These prices are off the top of my head. I'll get some more prices for you guys. We have 7% tax here where I live. But in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal they pay 14%-15% tax.

Some more prices from Canada

Rabox 888 $129 = $104 USD (on sale)
Zaf 832 $225 = $185 USD
Yokees 881 $265 = $215 USD
Kratt 843 $265 = $215 USD

Australia

From David Jones Melbourne: Zathan 772 $440 AUS

From Sodium Hobart: Zathan & X-Rotuck both in bad washes $470

From Resistance Hobart: Cardiel & Zathan $330 (apparently they don't buy from diesel australia as Diesel Austrlia won't allow their product to be sold cheaper then the rrp)

From Glue: Saw Dardy at $219 but the majority styles $330+

Very lucky to get a good style for anything less than $380

the prices here in Brazil are somewhat like Australia...
It's funny because the prices are very much alike for all models: 1000 reais, which is around 400 dolars. It's really expensive because almost 60% of this price are taxes from the government.
