OK, I need a pity party.... and major help me thinks...

SO.... I have 4 pairs of TR's and none fit properly. I just got a new pair of Joey's rigid in the mail and I am so bummed I can't even think straight! $500 in jeans and I can't(won't) wear any of them!

My problem, small waist, big thighs. I have had Bobby's 26 stretch and rigid 26 and Joey's rigid 26, stretch 25. None fit properly. All are tight in the thighs and loose in the waist AND butt, except the Joey's stretch 25 which are just too small all together. The looseness is slight, but because the thighs are too tight, it feels like my jeans are falling all the time and then they catch on my thigs and it then feels like I have a load in my pants or it makes noise when I walk, this ridiculous flapping sound. SUCKS!

And I took pics of the new joey's to get opinions and I look like a big fat cow! How can someone who is a sz 26 look like a fat cow???? OK I am ONLY 5'4" but come one. The camera surely does add poundage!

So should I make one last effort to try joey's in a stretch 26 or should I skip the whole thing and just get for a pair of Sammy's? And is the fit in Sammy's any better for bigger thigh? The only place I have near me to try on is Willow 506, but they NEVER have small sizes in stretch or Sammy's.

Opinions please! Has anyone else had these problems or am I just a picky biatch? Anyone? Do you just sacrifice comfort for style? Here are the new Joey's, you probably can't tell much from the pics, but let me tell you, they are so annoying I want to rip them up to shreads.

Thanks all!

I have no idea what you are complaining about! I think your joeys look perfectly fine on you, and you have a cute butt! =P I say keep them, it's all in your head!

OK, first of all, you look FABULOUS in those BUT if they make you feel that way try another style or brand until you find something that makes you SO happy when you wear them you never want to take them off!!!

I am sad cause if you are a fat cow them I am the titanic

Thanks y'all. I do apprecaite the positive comments alot. I guess I just need major help then(mental). They just don't feel right. I am so picky about the way my clothes feel. I hate the tight thigh feeling with the loose waist thing. If they were tight all over, it would be no big thing, even the 25's though too small were bearable enough for me to wear for a day. These I would be squatting all the time trying to stretch them out, not very attractive.

Has ANYONE had this problem at alll? I can't be the only one. They need to make thigh stretchers like the waist stretchers! Would it help to wet the thighs and try to stretch them? Do they stretch more wet?

Anyone who has both joeys and Sammy's want to compare fits for me?

I had Joeys too and they felt the same way on my thighs.. that's why I kinda gave up on TR. Just want to give the sammy a try now..
But I completely get what you're trying to say!!

I say def try a Sammy jean, they are bigger in the thigh...........sorta like the dojo is in sfam or the faye is in coh. I personally do not like stretch tr joey for the same reason you post. They are super duper tight in the thigh and loose in the waist and look funny on. So I understand but again, try a RIGID sammy and you will love those!

I think you look really hot in those jeans. If all of them fit anyway similar to those then you have nothing to worry about.

You look great in them!!!

I have Joey DV stretch in size 26. I didn't like it at first since it "hug" my thigh and loose around the waist. Then I went to the tailor to have the waist taken in. Now it fits awesome! I love it so much. I always get compliment wearing them since it makes my legs look small... So you might want to wear and walk around and get use to it.

I also have Joey sunshine in slv size 25 in rigid. Personally, I think it makes my look fat. Maybe because of the color....

Anyhow, you look great in them. Maybe you just need to get used to it.

Those Joey's look PERFECT on you, what are you talking about?! I know how it is to have jeans that you don't feel good in though, so no matter how good they look, if you don't like them, keep looking until you find something you do love!

They look perfect to me and you look tiny, although if you feel as if they aren't fitting right then there's nothing that can really be done but to try something else. Every cut isn't going to work on every person, that's just how it goes. Try the other styles to see how they compare, but really, these look great and I have no idea why you think they look bad!

Indeed you do look hot in those jeans!! (If you want to sell your other Joeys though...I'm about the same size )

Those jeans look great on you! But I understand your problem, I have the same one. The only TRs I have are sammys and I seem to still have a little bit of that problem. The 26 rigid ones are a tad loose on the waist yet tight on my thighs. And I have a pair of 25 rigid crops that fit perfectly after stretching them out a little bit. The worst is a pair of 7fam havanas that I got about a month ago. The waist and butt fit perfectly but the thighs were so tight I couldn't even pull the jeans all the way up! (They were sagging below my crotch... ick!) I finally decided to try stretching them and I was somewhat successful; they are still tight but no longer sag 2 inches below my crotch! I suggest that you try stretching them before you give up completely, it might help!

EXCELLENT! Just what I wanted to hear! Sammy it is!

It's not the way they look, it's the way they feel. There is no getting used to it, I have been this way since I was 13. I am 36

Oh, and I feel fat because they are so tight in the legs and loose in the butt that it constantly draws my attention to the tightness. I am just crabby today. Believe me I me happy to be a 26. After twins and 2 years of size 6 and 8, and 7 days a week working out, 26 is quuite fine with me!

TWINS You have an AMAZING body first of all, and now that you've said you carried and gave birth to twins, my jaw is on the floor.

You have a really nice shape and those jeans bring that out. I wonder if you have one of those mirrors that gives off a relection of a fat person, like the ones at the circus. you are no where near fat. Now me that is another stroy

LOL.....I was thinking something similar about myself....

imo, judging from the pics they look good on you....
Yeah. Im not sure what you are complaining about haha. They look good to me. I think at some point everyone has sacrificed comfort for style. I have some Dusty Trails that are very small in the crotch area. REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE when walking or siting. But I know they look awesome so I wear em anyway.
If they look awesome on ya.. keep em!

I'd like to hop on the band wagon and say they look nice on you.

Those jeans were MADE for you! Wear those around town and you'll surely turn some heads
