I just had a terrible experience at a boutique downtown. I was looking to try on Bobby Big T's with the Sunshine Rainbows. They had them and I asked for a size 27 and tried them on. I thought they looked "okay." I tried on a 26 and was really excited about them, so excited I almost paid "gasp" retail. The salesgirl proceeded to tell me that i could get better looking jeans at the GAP and I clearly had the wrong size and style for my body.
She then brought me a size 26 in Sammys. I thought the Sammy's looked like total poop on me ( I really don't like this style anyway, I really hate how the pockets go below my butt) She told me that this was the only style of TR that would work for me because I have a long torso and short legs. She made me feel really bad about my body and myself and now I am just sad. I guess I just needed to vent, because this post was kind of pointless.
I was just wondering if it was true that people with short legs should only wear Sammys
(I'm 5'3", weigh 114, and have a 28" inseam in flats and 30" in heels if that helps)
