WOW! I remember the wooshi incidents.... but I had no idea she was Brynk until now!!

I wouldn't mind a different way of registering or at least to be able to sell.

Maybe to be a seller, you have to sign up and pay a very small fee one time w/ 1 HF ID...maybe $1-5 but by CC or debit card.... that way they know your real name and there would be no mulitple ID's. Cause unless you are a true con-artist no one should have two credit card names. That way they could link your true name and CC number to your HF ID. I mean don't you have to prove your identity on ebay

How about copy of you ID/DL.......?????? No way am I giving anyone my CC numbers. On your ID you can block out you SS# if it is on there. Also your date of birth. Just show addy, and picture, so if needed you can be found.
We didn't have this problem, until Dave made it open sales. He didn't think all the snakes would come back, and bring friends.
RESIGN CONTRACT, and give photo ID.

I think $5 reg fee would be good and may be they will get refund if they stay on the forum for 6 months with minimum 200 posts.

What's next. Dave gets a % of the sale???? I think State ID/DL is enough. Five bucks will not discourage the fake sellers. Sorry, I don't know Dave, and he is not a bank, or CC company. Unless he sets this up like E bay, he is not getting my credit information. no one knows where he would store it, how safe it is, what he would do with the information now, or after this forum is gone. BTW...If the military threw personal info in the trash can, why would anyone trust a fashion website?

You are right. But I guess I meant maybe pay a small reg fee directly from paypal... that way he is protected yet doesn't actually have the number and paypal must have your real identity.

But the copy of your DL/ID is a good one too.

Wow, how disappointing. When I post a Q on R&R, brynk was the 1st one that answered. I stated on another thread. I think in order to one has to be on here as an active member for a period of time, say 6 months or something.

How would transferring a small fee give Dave our CC info? It's not like they transmit the number right? I think the purpose was just to see what our PP confirmed name/addresses are.

I'm personally not into sending in a HM fee though. And I also know how easy it is to photoshop a drivers license. (heh, I say that only because some cheaters will do anything to guarantee their buck)

As for Jahmmy, I reported my suspicion that she was JuneP to BLM weeks ago but he didn't believe me. He said there was no ISP overlap but I definitely had other reasons for thinking they were the same person.

Heres a suggestion from my hubby who knows much more about computers than I;

the only way to prevent that person from coming back would be to require email verification for new user registration

if he bans their ip and requires email verification that would mean that the person would have to do an awful lot of work just to get back onto the site

Yeah, it was really obvious. The topic was originally posted amongst the mods on April 15th, I'm really sorry that I didn't push it harder if there were people who bought/traded after that date that would have been protected I specifically warned that I had a bad feeling about all the trading she was pushing to do. One member here has met JuneP and she's the person in jahmmy's avatar

gee. i was like this close to getting a pair of antiks she had on sale on HM. she promised to put them on hold for me and even PMed me her paypal address so i could pay when i get up (it was late where i am)

the next day, i received a PM (about an hour after her promise to put them on hold for me) that she had sold the jeans to someone else. (from germany i think.)

was infuriated but i didnt want to "spoil" her reputation by complaining about this incident but i'm glad i didnt get the jeans from her now. better off without them.

Omg! I leave for a day and all this..wow I cant belive this, I hope this serves as a lesson for all the ppl who are shady, everything comes to light eventually!!!...I just hope crystal gets her jeans!
