I see what you're talking about, where you're uncomphy with them. Try a rigid easy rider bobby. this is a great, flattering wash, and the rigid fabric will def. be better on you, keeps the bluberryt hing from happening, because it'll relax.

I dont know if there is a rigid johnny, but that would be good too.

I like joeys on most people better, but you have a long torso, and I think bobbys/johnnys are better for elongating legs.

I think you need to go with rigid.

stretch looks similar on me as it seems to on you, and honestly I can see why you don't feel amazing about it. It doesn't look bad or anything

but rigid will look 10 times better.

I think they look great from the front but I am not too impressed with the back view. I think a size up would look better. JMO

I think they look nice on you, but its all about if you feel comfortable wearing them or not.
I can understand, kind of, where your hubby might not like them - my bf dislikes most TRs on me because he says the pockets sit too low. Maybe that's it?

Yeah, like I said I am wearing a 24 and need a 25. I sold the 25 already cause the hubby hated them. I think I am goint to try rigid... somewhere. Thanks fo reverybody's honesty!!

I think they look really good on you. I think it is the low pockets your hubby might not like. My hubby does not like TR Jeans because he says it looks like I should be riding a horse (cowgirl jeans). Not sure why he thinks that but oh well.

Although I see nothing wrong with the pair in the pictures (I see no muffin top at all, and they don't look way too small to me!), I'm glad you've decided to try a pair of rigid . . . hopefully you'll be more comfortable in them.

Like others have said, the rigid would be worth a try. They look good from the front and okay in the back. If you're uncomfortable, it's unlikely that you'll get over it later. My first Joeys were stretch dark vintage and they looked horrible on my ass. I tried to convince myself doing some squats would help, but nadda. I got a pair of rigid and have been in love ever since!

I have that same blueberry problem with joeys... While joeys seem to be the favorite on this forum, I HATE them. The rigids flatten my butt, and the stretch give me blueberrys. Bobbys and Johnnys on the other hand look amazing on my bum. I can wear stretch and rigid styles in those. I think that's what you should try.

my stretch joeys look a lot alike on me..and they get even worse as they stretch out more during the day..so I understand where you're coming from..
but I've got some new hope with this rigid idea..might try a pair of those myself..
let me know what happens if you try rigids.
