got my first pair of sammys today :)

I was so excited with the anticipation of getting my first pair of sammys, i could harldy stand it! i ordered the saddleback from Revolve with that awesome sale and discount. I have never tried on sammys before, so was nervouse about how they would fit. Well, i tried them on, and they actually fit! Someone once said they fit people better that have some "booty". well, i have plenty of that. I love them..not so crazy about the wash though. i knkew the distress holes in front would bother me, but what actually bothers me more is that the seam right down the center of my rear end has distressing on it. Do all saddlebacks have this, or is it just mine?
Anyhow, i am going to post pictures because i want honest opinions on how they look on me and also opinions on the distressing on the butt seam.

Hmm... not really. It's not that noticeable and parts of the pocket are frayed too, so it goes together. I'd have a real problem if it were the only part of the jean that's distressed Sammys hang so low and I'm so short that someone would really have to be desperate for some action to get close enough to see the distressing

I hope your computer stops sucking, Jen . . . we want to see pictures! I recently got my first pair of Sammys new off of eBay and I really like them!

okay, here are the pictures. Not only do i want honest opinions on how they look/fit on me. But i also want input on keeping them. These are the reasons for not keeping them:if they don't look right on me,the distress mark right in the center of the butt, and the distress/holes up front. Those would be the 3 things that bother me, the second 2 reasons are for sure, waiting for all your input on the first
BTW, the pics i took myself, so they aren't the best

let's try again

KEEP! They look awesome on you, IMO, and the distressing is minimal and not too terribly noticeable. I could understand if you decide to return them since you don't feel 100% comfortable in them right now, but they honestly do look great on you.
I still think they look good!!

I think they look awesome better than mine

thanks you all. makes me feel good that at least i can wear sammys. i hate to do this, but i am posting another picture. it is a scary butt shot, but you can see that stupid distress line on the butt seam a lot better in it. i am just so hung up on it(i am a freak that way), i want to know if you all think that's what people are going to notice, if they are "checking me out", if they are checking me out that is
post #22 of 31
They look good on you! I wouldn't have zero'd in on the distressing on the back seam if you hadn't mentioned it. I think you'll be fine but if you really don't feel comfortable with it, it's better to send these back or sell them and get a wash that you feel 100% good about.
ya if you dont like the distressing on the back (which i totally would not have noticed had you not mentioned it) get med pony express. its about the same color and not distressed.
that would bug me because i am the same way. i agree with brynk.

I think they look really good on you! The distress line isn't overly noticeable or glaring, definitely not where my eye was drawn to. I'd keep them!
