Question for the experts on washes

I bought a pair of Dojo's off of Ebay last week. (and got an incredible deal!) They arrived today, and they are very beautiful! The wash code is "ACR"- this is printed on the white sticker that is on the jeans. They are a dark wash with some distressing. The style # is U115061U-061U, and the cut #105250. Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!

i know there's an acapulco wash
I think acapulco is newer.

Marcano, do yours look like this? http://www.revolveclothing.com/produ...SEVE-WJ105.jsp

Oh but they have an older cut #, hmm
Could that be a new cut #? I thought the older "1" cut numbers only had 5 digits. The one mentioned has 6. Could 7FAM have gone through all of the 7***** cut numbers, and now they're starting with 1's? Just a thought.

ARGH I can't for the life of me figure out how to link you to the auction... I'm very frustrated right now!!! I'll figure it out eventually- in the meantime, thanks so much for your help!!!

No, they don't really look like those, except for the fading from bottom to top (they are alot darker at bottom and fade into a lighter wash at the top like those from revolve). Also, they have the old dojo style pocket, with dark blue stitching.

The older 8 and 9 style numbers have 5 digits, the older 1 style numbers have 6.

Just one of those older mystery washes I guess. Csirip might know what it stands for. I like Christin's guess of Acropolis.

Thanks bingo.

Marcano, those are the best dojo's ever!!!

They're an older style and very, very hard to find! They have the distressing on the hips at at the bottom cuffs (you can kinda see it in the auction pics). They're made of such soft, thick denim too!

These are the only dojos that are flattering on me. Every other style of dojos look terrible on me! Do you absolutely love the way they fit?!?!?! I love mine so much I have 2 pairs of them (probably should get rid on one of them though).

So the wash is ACR? I never knew what it was.

Congrats! Those are amazing!

I know they are not, but they remind me of Dark Sevilles. Very nice!

Just want to thank everyone who responded to my quest to find out what the wash ACR is. I guess we will just have to believe that it is ACRopolis. I like that anyhow.

And NAT829- your post made me feel SO happy all over again about my purchase! I got such a deal, I watched them for days- they hadn't been listed well. I love a deal!!! And it happens so rarely, ya know? I absolutely LOVE the distressing- I haven't seen that kind of distressing on any other 7FAM. It kind of reminds me of COH Nimes distressing a little... RAMBLE RAMBLE RAMBLE...

Anywhoo... thanks again to all you denim experts. I'm so happy to have found this site!

Not to bump this old-a$$ thread (yeah, laugh at me all you want) but you guys know my preoccupation with old 7FAM washes...so I'm wondering if the wash code here actually stands for Atlantis CRease, perhaps?!

(csirip and I mused over a pair of sigs in this wash that I sold several months back--and an identical pair I'd sold a few years ago--and that was what we came up with!)

BTW, here are (I believe) the dojos the OP was talking about:

http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/7-for-all-mankind-dojo-jeans/2816813

and the front shot, which isn't displayed on that page but I dug it up by viewing the source code (shows the inner hem distress):

http://g.nordstromimage.com/imagegallery/store/product/Gigantic/16/_51276.jpg

(also, Nordie's needs to stop sizing up in EVERY pair they photograph...it makes these look like mom jeans and in most other cases makes the models look even more emaciated than they might be)

According to the Ebay listings I've seen for various pairs (almost invariably mis-listed as NYD), these actually run tts. I'd love some 29s, since I like rigids and the slightly distressed look but am definitely not into orange stitching, or anything orange for that matter...

Hope I've somewhat solved the mystery of another old 7FAM wash! :D
