This is quite possibly true. Lots of people can't tell real from fakes. This is why so many known fake sellers on eBay have so much positive feedback.

But very few people can afford thousands of dollars worth of gifts. I still say you shouldnt bite on this, but if you want to, its your money. However, I would like to say that, regardless of who you trust, if you were smart, you would go yourself and see the jeans with your own two eyes. You told us you can tell fakes from reals...why make that distinction when your hundreds of dollars in the hole?

i'll ask her all this tomorrow haha. she gets the gifts from her mom's friend, not aunt. her aunt sells them, she doesn't give them out for free, i'm way over discussing this so i'm crossing my fingers hoping its real

Honestly, I want to give your family the benefit of the doubt, but I don't see how this could happen. I say that if you want to go through with it, you should at least go and see the jeans for yourself, because otherwise there isn't much you can do once you have them. I think it'd be pretty awkward if you got fakes and had to accuse your friends mom(?)/aunt or whoever of selling fakes to you. On the off chance that the jeans could be real, give it a shot, but DEFINITELY go see them for yourself! Good luck to you

ok i don't really care about the hassle of returning them. its just gonna be the aunt her, and her mom's friends. i would feel really out of place if i go.
