i always wondered why the gender proportion in the Diesel forum doesnt seem to be representative of what you see in terms of customers of Diesel. i would think that Diesel customers are 50/50 male female but on this forum it seems like 90% are male =P

actually i see alot of girls wear Diesel jeans and everytime when im in a store i see a fair share of girls in there too! even around the world in stores in Italy and Thailand , you see a decent amount of girls in the stores which suggest decent amount of interest. i mean the amount of girls that wear diesel cant possibly be as bad as the 10:1 ratio we have here in honest forum it seems =P

i think diesel's been around too long for them perhaps. it's not new and fresh. even though the styles are as we all know.

im gonna have to say more guys wear diesel jeans where i come from, and also, more guys know how ot use computers and are willing to do research tofind better jeans for less money, and i say that in a completely innocent way, i dont want to come off as a sexist even though i just made a sweeping generalization

I'm really having a hard time believing that Diesels are as unpopular among girls as this forums ratio would have you to be believe.

but look at the Sevens forum! sometimes they are even more active than us which means girls are off searching for good deals too! although i noticed alot more peopel on the SFAM complain about getting fakes than the people here in our forum

I thought about making utterly sexist comments as above, but I resisted. Although you forgot their jobs on average pay less money...Just kidding.

The girls from the Seven forum are totally gonna come in here and beat us up

The only pair of diesels I have are "Serpa".... boy that's an old style. I really like the hush style.. except 24 is still too big. I find that diesels for females only look good on the tall model types, as all the pairs I see are so long and straight cut! Unfortunately I'm short.

exactly! I have a few pairs of diesels but I don't like the way they fit... i'm 5'2 and diesels just do not work out...i look like im wrapped in some bag when I wear them...plus the styles I don't like as much for the girls...

The next logical evolution of this thread is:

"Diesel: Hot jeans, or replacements for females?"

Try the mens cuts. My girlfriend has very non-model like proportions (26 inch waist and like 33 inch hips) and she couldn't fit into a single diesel jean she tried, until she put on KKS's xrotucks before I sent them to him, thinking they were for her. They fit her perfectly. I think zathan and xrotuck and maybe even ZAF would fit women really well...

Here in Vancouver, BC I very rarely see any girls (or guys for that matter) in Diesel denim. Even the majority of guys I see only wear them thanks to a nice discount at the retail outlet they work at The most prevalent stores for ladies carry alot of SFAM, Juicy, and a few other brands but little to none Diesel.

KKS she was wearing you pants haha. BUt ya, that interetesting. The only ladies jeans I have seen in stores is the Hushs which the dude told me to try on because he said they work better on guys so I did. They did fit nice though.

This just proves it....I've got the supermodel legs!

Around these parts (Southern Cal), I would say I see more dudes with Diesels than chicks by about a 5 to 1 margin. In fact, I will give a girl an extra look if they have a nice pair of snug diesels on. It's funny that I didn't really notice it before until it was brought up, but almost all the girls wearing diesels are on the taller side.

But by far, I see the girls around here wearing Sevens (or other jeans) over Diesels all the time. I don't see a girl in Diesels everyday, but every I see Sevens, sevens, sevens..... I think Sevens are nice jeans (for women). But Sevens for men are still girly-man jeans. J/K

But to the matter on topic the 85-90% male ratio might be right on. At least around here.

seven is turning into the new A+F. i think i might sell all mine. they fit like CRAP (the guy's ones). plus i can't stand seeing these girls strutting their stuff in their sevens everywhere i go. it's terrible. it could very well be their only pair of designer jeans so they make it a point to wear it 5 days a week. i don't know why yet but it's definitely a designer jean for those who have graduated from abercrombie. they're getting lame, and fast.
