Anyone think Big T Miners are to much??

My first poll...You can be harsh ladies...I need complete honesty...
I just bought these at the rack yesterday(they had a bunch of these and the medium clearwater joeys with the stars on the behind) on impulse. Though they fit amazing, I am having a little trouble with the contrasting white stiching on a black denim. They are the bobby medium miner big t's.
I was thinking that I could wear them casual with some converse when my son has races on the weekends we are always in the dirt anyways.
They where only 100 bucks, which lately to me seems a steal of a deal for TR's. It seems that I am always willing to spend more and more and more......
Do you think the style is tough to pull off?? Ebay has been flooded with them I have noticed, I am sure because the rack has them.
Any input would be great ladies...

They look good on you but I cant see the color all that well on my laptop. I would have a really hard time trying to find things to wear them with and I am not sure they are very feminine either.

Your original thought on wearing with converse to the track is a good one. For much else I think they are hard to pull off, IMO. They fit you well though, and look nice...

I agree with you 100%...they look best tomboy style, I have tried them with heels and a dressy shirt and feel stupid, but with a tank and some flops or tennies they actually look cute. I would only wear them out to the dirt...hehehehe...Luckily for me my family is always in the dirt either riding motorcycles or racing sprint cars... so they may get a lot of use with me.

What is it about them that people don't think is girly? The fact that they are black?
I have the Joey Big T Medium Miners and just got my Bobby rainbow donkeys (both black) and I think they are both great....
BTW, I like them, I think they are cute and I like the diversity of black jeans... because you can only have sooo many shades of blue!

They're not solid black.. not like the Black Vintage. And after the first time you wash them, the color will fade a little and the denim will get even softer. I sold mine recently...I'm more a light denim kinda person.
But they're very flattering.

They really do fit like a glove...And you are right PCK the denim is super soft....I am assuming they will turn more greyish after washing as they are pretty faded black, not a solid black at all.
If I could get someone to take decent pictures I could show the color better. But since my husband and children are far from being photographers this is all I get...

THe color shown here might be a little darker than in real life, but it was a very cloudy day when I took the pics and I didn't use the flash (flash makes my pics funky).

OMG I love these jeans! I was the one who bought them from pck18, and I've already worn them so much I am surprised I haven't worn them to bed! I wore them last night w/black heels and a black sweater and a black belt with a rhinestone buckle--i didn't look tomboy, i swear! The contrast of the dark denim and superfat white stitching seems to define and elongate the legs, too, which is good 'cause I'm not especially tall. I also wore them (w/a hoodie) last week to help out at a little girl's b-day party, so i guess that was more tomboy...
and they're really soft, too...i think kind of sharp/hip/classic all in one, but it totally depends on what you like, and what you're wearing with 'em.

errr...i'm also wearing them right now...I like them that much!

I voted no cause I think they are optically pulling your cheeks apart. . . can't describe it. I don't think it's you. . .I've seen you before (I believe) and I think these jeans are doing a wierd thing. I think it's the contrast, just like you said. If you got them for VERY cheap, then keep, but if not, take back.
