can you pull your jeans off without undoing them?

Lately, I've noticed that I can fairly easily pull some of my jeans off--both stretch and non-stretch pairs--without undoing 'em. I just wiggle a little and give a tug, and they're gone. Do others experience this, or should I be buying them tighter?

nope
i think you should be buying them tighter unless you are comfortable this way.
i can do that with skirts or pants but not jeans....

i think def. tighter...unless you like the way they feel now.
I'm sure if you had a significant other they'd be please with this idea

Is this when you first put them on, or after wearing them for awhile? By the end of the day, I can do it, but not when I first put them on.

i only own one pair that i can pull down without much effort. they feel way too big if i can easily pull them down.

yeah, i've noticed my BF always likes me in pants and jeans that are so tight, i'd never walk out of the house in 'em!

I don't like my gf wearing baggy/loose jeans either...hehe I like them snug/tight.
It depends. If you like them baggy, keep them that way. If you don't, get a smaller size!

As for me, I have a couple of pairs I like baggy but not to the point I can slip them off w/o unbuttoning them.

you should size down, I'm sure you look good in tight jeans, just do it!(and leave the house in them! )

depending on jean/pants and fabric. On some I can do it easyly

Yes, this is typically after I've been wearing the jeans for a day or two. The pair I have on now are on day 2, and I can wiggle 'em off easily. Stretch jeans and non-stretch jeans alike seem to stretch out a lot for me.

When I first joined HF, I remember someone posting that if you can button jeans up, by any means necessary (when trying them on in the store), then they're the right size. But I can always button up the next size down in the store, even if it feels (or looks) too tight for my liking. I usually go with the size that feels comfy in the store, and not that tight. But maybe I am buying 'em too big?

/\ good point.

okay, ladies, tell me this--if you lie down on your bed or a couch wearing jeans that fit you well, how much extra waistband fabric can you pinch up into your fingers? One inch? Two inches? None?

i dont go by the "if you can button them up" logic. there have been jeans that i can button up, but they look and feel waay too tight, my asscrack is showing, not pretty. if they are just a bit too tight (esp TRs) I know they will stretch out a bit and be ok, though. i know some people hate having to size up, but a larger size might look better if you really have to struggle to button them up

my butt won't allow me to, and if I can Im afraid I might pull my undies down

i never have to really struggle to button up (or zip up) the next size down, but often, when i get them on in the smaller size, they feel really tight around my hipbones--and yet at the same time, i might have some gapping at the back waist, even in the smaller size. i guess i was wondering if other women think the pinching at the hipbones (or wherever) is normal at first, and just assume they'll stretch nicely with wear?

(btw, the reason i'm suddenly obsessing over this is that i just purchased a pair of jeans from a member here, off eBay, in my smaller size, and i'm hoping they will fit when they get here!)

Damn antik, you in that much of a hurry to get it on you can't even be bothered to unbutton?!

No way I can get mine off without undoing them. Hell, sometimes I have problems getting them off when they are undone. Did I mention I like my jeans nice and tight on the booty?
