I like small boobs and wish I had them. Most models have small boobs and clothes are made for them--the more something fits you as it does on a hanger, the better!

my best friend is getting a boob job for graduation. she tried to convince me to get one with her, but since i have a small, petite body frame, huge boobs would look weird. plus, i don't beleive in plastic surgery unless it's absolutely needed because of health risks, or reconstruction.

i never knew that breastfeeding made your breast permanently smaller...does that happen to everyone or do some people go back to the size they were before?

well mine were bigger before I got preg/breastfeeding. I was a C, now I'm an A. But like I said, I'm 25 pounds lighter now than before I got pregnant. So I think that may have played a large roll. But I don't think nursing helped! My boobs are still as perky as they were before, just not as big. And it's different for everyone. Some women go flat after nursing, and some get bigger, or stay the same. But breastfeeding was worth it! I plan to breastfeed all of my babies

It absolutely does not have the same effect on everyone-and I agree with mozzalicious-totally worth it. I had a patient say she did not want to bf for just that reason-I know it is personal preference, but that is sincerely shallow and selfish-IMO

A nurse I work with has been *dreaming*of a reduction and lift. She has made and cancelled numerous appointments (financial set-backs). She has a tiny frame and these 36DD's that she feels are not her. With this tax refund that is her plan-to book her surgery. It is unbeliveable how many people say to her "are you crazy? I would love big boobs"-yeah, the backaches, neckaches, way your clothes look and feel and the sheer expense of a good, supportive bra-yeah, fun.

yup. she wants one for when she graduates high school. and her mom is totally ok with it because she just got hers done about a month ago and loves them. i told her it greatly increases her chance of getting breast cancer, along with a lot of other risks, but she doesn't seem to care. she wants to get them, no matter what.

Wow, I can TOTALLY relate to all of that . . . I'm 5'10"-ish, 123 pounds, and wear a 32DD. I definitely feel like they are not ME either. I also get those kinds of comments too . . . and completely ignorant ones, even moreso.

I'm scared of boob jobs because of the horror stories that Ive seen, I'm not against them, I'm just scared of the body's reaction the the implants. Ive seen stories of girls that had their lives ruined because their bodies rejected the implants. its so sad

WHAT!! High school and getting implants. I am so glad you are not doing it. I can't believe that girls mom is ok with it. I have nothing against mature women having plastic surgery.....BUT a many high school seniors haven't even stopped growing yet. I was a pretty early bloomer but my body didn't stop changing until my 20's. A 17 or 18 year old is way too young in my opinion.

I think that is really sad. Like I said before... older, mature people who have some life experience...I'm ok with. But you need to live a little and experience the real world before deciding to change the body you just grew into. And what is worse than these girls wanting implants at 16, 17, or 18 is the parents and doctors who let them!

I agree HS is way to early to get implants, I think mabye after 20 its fine, my mother would never have let me do that, I don't knoe how some parents let their girls do that either?....I don't so much blame the doctors b/c its their business

I can only hope that when I have children that my breasts get bigger, and stay that way... But if I go by both of my sisters (both have a child), my breasts will stay the same size.
I've wanted breast implants for the longest time. I've always hated having small breasts. I'm a 32/34 A (depending on the bra). But all my friends say I don't need implants because my body is proportionate. Even guys like my size, but I still want to be bigger. I got my breast from my fathers side of the family, as my mom has been a DD since she was at least 18. And her mother has had (and survived) breast cancer.
But my mom has the problem that some of you have. Her breasts are too big. She wears a DD, but IMO they're too small. She wears full coverage bras, but her breasts come out over them. (hope that makes sense). She has back problems, and wants to get a reduction. Hell she's even "offered" to give me and one of my sisters (the other small breasted one) some of her breasts. But she hasn't talked to a doctor about getting a reduction, to my knowledge.
Oh, and I don't want to get huge breasts. I just want to have a B cup. I'm 22, and my breasts have pretty much been the same size since middle school. If I had the money/guts to get breast implants I would. But I worry about them being rejected by my body. Or the doctor not putting them in right. And the pain.
Oh, and I do fill out shirts (xs/s), just as long as they don't end up stretching out. I had these shirts that for some reason start out as a XS, but by the end of the day they feel like a L...

For us 'chestie' girls, I have finally found a couple of bras that I love and wanted to share....

These have maintained their shape, not stretched out, are really pretty & have good support! I am a 36DDD and that means something!

I had a patient (well, more than one but his one sticks out in my memory) who had augmentation-she was a small framed girl (and BTW, implants are heavy)-she had gotten them when she was 18 and-fast forward 10 years-now pregnant-her breasts increase naturally with pg and then she wants to breastfeed. She was unsuccessful and she was a little disappointed. Sadly, I think when augmentation is done at a young age, most people are a little short-sighted. Many a surgeon gives you the grim stats, and unfortunatly, they are right. While it can be successful with much persistance, most often it is not. Just something else to think about-but I know at 18 kids and feeding them is the last thing on your mind LOL,

Best of luck to you!!! You've given birth, I can't imagine anything being harder (or more wonderful!). Like you, I'm waiting on the birth of my second (an last) child and then I'll be having mine done as well. All of my girlfriends that have gone through the procedure say it hurts, but it's not too bad, and would do it all over again.

why the hell would you want to get breat implants while still in high school? boobs can keep growing into your twenties! imagine if she got c cup implants and grew another 2 sizes after! she will be running back to the surgeon to get another operation. and for those with small boobs who are seriously considering implants, are you on the pill? if not, and bigger boobs mean *soo* much to you, take the pill. side effects are bigger boobs.

i honestly dont see the appeal in big boobs and getting implants. women say if they had bigger boobs it would make them feel more feminine and like a 'real' woman, whatever the hell that means. well, if thats the case they need to see a psychiatrist, not a cosmetic surgeon. feeling feminine and being a real woman has nothing to do with boobs.

Not all women who go on the pill have an increase in breast size nor do they all gain weight.

I'm on the pill, didn't change the boobs.
