how long does it take for refund from Nordstroms to appear?

I got a price adjustment for a pair of SFAM jeans from Nordstroms and it's taken a while for it to show up on my statement (it's already been a week)

How long does it take for the refund to show on your statement? Has anyone had experience with this? Thanks!

I was told by live chat that the refunds would show up on my statement in about 2 weeks.

OMG THAT long??

They certainly charge my card fast enough when I order something! You'd think they'd do the same when requesting a price adjustment.

Has anyone else had actual experience with this (in effect, how long after you requested the adjustment did you receive your refund?)

I'm STILL waiting for a refund and a credit from an online store, Planet Lulu, and it's been almost a month since I returned the item and was promised a credit for duplicate shipping. I've been sending them e-mails since they received the return (delivery confirmation) and they FINALLY got back to me last week and said my return and credit should be here in a week. Guess what? IT'S NOT. Good luck with your situation!

Nordstrom takes the money out of your acct immediately then sometimes they cancel your order and take like a week to give you your $ back for somthing you never had in the first place. I really dont like that about them .. I sent them a return and I still havent got my $ back from that either

i sent an item back to nordstrom for a return, and the money was refunded 2 weeks later

Sorry to bump this up but DAMN i am really irritated with Nordies about this -- they cancelled 4 orders on me in 4 days, and I looked at my cc statement online yesterday and was like because I realized they still put a hold on those funds. I was about to call and complain. At least I know it's more than just me. But still!

Yeah its definetely me too! They hang on to that $ for dear life even though they have nothing in return for it! Really sucks

Nordstroms takes FOREVER when crediting your account...it took over a month and half the last two times I returned items from there. The CS told me a week, and when nothing appeared I called and asked. The CS then told me two weeks. After two weeks, still nothing. So I called CS for a third time, and they told me that had received my return, and would be processing it "Shortly". I'm not sure what their time frame is when they talk about "shortly", but it sure as hell wasn't short.

While I love their selection, and how great their CS is when it comes to finding an item that may be OOS, their returns are horrible.

Weird... I just checked my online statement, expecting to see one charge for the cancelled order, and a 2nd charge for the one they shipped. Turns out, they only charged me for the one they shipped AND they didn't charge me until the day they actually shipped them!

I wonder if they are rectifying the problem???

i thought so too, only charge if the item is available to be shipped out

Well, i have never had any cancelling situation... the last pair of the bootcut for 49.50 on the 8th, and was shipped out the 9th, still haven't been charged.

Before that, I normally shows that I am charged like 2-3 days after they have shipped the items to me. And if I don't like it, bring it back to Nordstrom store, they take return and recredit back to me, takes about 3 days that i see on my banking online already


I really like Nordstrom's customer service, never take foreve, but i've never done price adjustment, that's probably why it takes long
