wow, those are 1000% real and beautiful. You know, you don't have to refund her. You can let her file a paypal dispute, and then Pam can sign off that they are indeed real, and dispute ends. Did she pay with paypal? I'm really sorry, this totally sucks. Some people are so paranoid of receiving fakes but they don't educate themselves well on how to tell the counterfeits from the real stuff. It doesn't make sense to me. I'm totally sorry you're having to screw around with this.

hmmm - thats a thought. what does everybody else think about this idea? thing is, i really dont want to get the negative though! especially because she'll say that i'm selling fakes.

i still dont understand how the she can say the serial number isnt there. has anybody ever heard of sevens without the serial number??? the other 2 pairs i have here have the serial number. is she blind, is she messing with me, or is it possible that they dont have the serial number??

Aritizia is a snooty store all the tween girls like to shop at. Their biggest claim to fame are stupid supplex lycra suits under the house label "TNA".

The only styles of SFAM they carry there (at least at the ones near me) are the NYD flares and bootcuts.. nothing exciting.

So no wonder she wouldnt know the lake como wash. I sense buyer's remorse.

Where's this buyer located at leesamarie?

Aritzia is a boutique here in Canada that sells designer denim (never been myself).

I hate Aritzia. All the SA's are snobby teens. I was offered a job there, but turned it down, because I didn't want to be an "Aritzia girl". I think it's a joke that this buyer asked her co-workers and "senior staff" to verify their authenticity. Even the managers of these stores are clueless and snotty 22 year olds.....and they barely sell any 7FAM.

While I'm FAR from an expert on the issue....I know that the tags are slightly different in Canada. Mainly, there's a fourth tag in French....but perhaps they put the serial number in a different place too.

On my 7FAM's, the serial number is where the buyer described it....on the back of the last tag.

oh great - look at this after i told her to return them and i woud refund her even though they are authentic

No effing way!! Even PayPal would tell her to send them back first before you send the refund! I have a bad feeling about this buyer...I think she's trying to scam you.

DON'T send her refund until you KNOW the jeans have been shipped out! This situation seems to be a no-win situation for you...personally, I would just let her file the paypal dispute at this point. She's being incredibly uncooperative and annoying.

I think she is trying to scam you into getting free jeans. whatever you do don't give her the refund until the jeans are in your hands in the condition you sold them in.

I got the same jeans, via htran, but you were the original seller she got them from, and they are def. real and very nice.

yeah - i'm thinking you are right missmk- about letting her file with paypal. because then they will ask me for proof of authenticity, right? and they are authentic so it shouldnt be a problem. seems like shes going to blast me with a negative anyway.

yes conner - i think she is trying to scam me. any other opinions? wheres idalis?

Honestly, I am thinking she will neg you anyway, no matter how this pans out. Tell her to file with paypal. Do not refund without the jeans in hand. Hopefully she will return the jeans you sent her and not try a switch. Sounds like a real scammer, and not too bright. Play hardball now. You have been incredibly nice here. NO one issues a refund without item in hand. NO ONE!

wow, i totally feel for you. this buyer is a complete nightmare!
like everyone else said, DO NOT send the jeans back without a refund first. personally, i would have idalis report to paypal that they are authentic, but even then i dont think she would be convinced if she truly thinks they are fake. this person is either trying to scam you or is one of those paranoid buyers who wants a good deal but freaks out b/c they are completely CLUELESS when it comes to telling auth from fake.
whenever i sell sevens with white tags i make a note of it in the listing. of course this may not help considering some people are incapable of reading the listing before they bid.

You're going to get a neg, but that's beside the point. This is a scam. Buyer likely thinks she can get her store friends to be trusted as experts and con you into giving her the money and keeping the jeans. This is simple... no return first, no refund. That's the way it would work for a Paypal complaint or a credit card chargeback. Let her file one.

PS: I'd tell her that since she works at a store, she knows full well then that no store gives your money back BEFORE you bring back the merchandise, and your store is no different, and she will receive nothing unless the jeans are returned in the condition they were sent

It should. Let her think she knows it all . . . she'll get a nice wake up call when eBay/PayPal side with you! And what is she smoking to where she thinks you would give her a refund before returning the jeans? Like Pam said, if she's a high and mighty sales associate at ANY store (or any person with common sense, for that matter), she would know that you don't get your money back BEFORE you return something to a store, even an eBay store such as yours.

Wow leesamarie33, just read this thread and your buyer sounds like a scammer. I agree with others here that you should tell her to go ahead and file with Paypal. Good luck with everything. Keep us updated.
