Hi, I run sample sales in the L.A. area and I have deals with boutiques around town to purchase their overstock. So far, the deals are not that good because I have to buy a large volume and they are only willling to give me 50% off. I typically do NOT like to pay over $100 for a pair of jeans, especially since the True Religion Sample sale only charged $90 including tax for their first quality stuff. However, I have an opportunity to purhcase Bobby Big T in rinse, 7 pieces for $125/pair including tax.
Are people into the Bobby Big T in Rinse? I think they look great, but I'm a little cautious because if I purchase them, I would charge $140 and I don't know if people are willing to pay that price.
Keep in mind also that there are a million sales going on here in L.A. and the average person is just no spending that much money right now...including me.
Any opinion would be great.
By the way, the Instant Gratification sample sale in L.A. was fun but overpriced. They were selling tons of True Religions for $110, which IMO was too expensive for a sample sale in L.A.
