hard choice man
all fantastic drummers, with very different styles

probably, I'd put Jon Theodore at the first place, I think he "fits" best with The Mars Volta
he's very powerful and groovy at the same time
and he has a 70's feel, he sorta reminds me of Mitch Mitchell

second place to Blake Flemming

and third to Thomas Pridgen, even if he probably is the most gifted technically speaking, but for some reasons I'm not a great fan of his musical sense

Wow. That is interesting. I would have listed them in the exact opposite order. Jon is amazing, but Thomas is so damn dexterous. He brings his own talent to TMV sound and I feel that out of all the drummers the TMV have had he actually forces them to better musician rather than relying on Omar and Cedric's talents.

hehe the fact is probably I'm a bit partial about that
my fav album is still deloused in the comatorium, I've seen them live once here in milan, but then get sorta bored and quitted following them from the second album
I respect TMV very much, great band and brilliant musicians, but proly they're not my cup of tea...

Awesome ^.. So glad that EP turned out to be a full record



Love these guys, they are fantastic remixers as well. This Stones remix is one of the best remixes I have ever heard PERIOD. Give it a listen, it keeps all the old cues and adds some new funk without destroying the original feel
