ha, i appreciate your honesty! ppl give lil wayne a lot of hate and i rly wasnt into him until about a yr and a half ago! but hes one of the greatest these days and thats the truth.

and other music, well, ive been completely obsessed with the new animal collective album and posted it about 3 posts ago i think.

problem is, i get infatuated with a song or hook or line and need to keep hearing it over and over or im not happy. =/ ha

Zo,

The point is negging someone for something they are listening to at the moment is just ignorant. Whether you agree with the music or not it has nothing to do with you just move on. Maybe that song had some significance to Julz. If someone posted in the What Are You Eating Thread and posted something you hated would you neg them for that?

I believe the true reason you hate LiL Wayne is the fact that he can rock jeans inside his boots while you just look...

The first neg I rec'd on my choice in music bugged for a minute, but then decided it was really nothing to get worked up about. Obviously that person just cannot relate to me/my life. Unless you know who I am you don't know how influential early to mid 90s hip-hop/rap was to me or how much I loved hanging with my aunt when I was a little girl listening to 70s music on vinyl and 8-track. I won't apologize for still liking those songs and no one else should have to apologize for their "tastes" either.

Music means something different to everyone. Just accept it and move on.

I don't need any explanations or anyone to prove me wrong. if I don't like something I say so. ! I never said that there is bad music. No such thing as bad music, (or may be) !different tastes YES. Bad Artist = yes ! It was my IMO and that's all.

This is where your thinking goes off track. I'm pretty sure this isn't one of the threads where people are asking for constructive criticisms on what music to listen to. They've already made up their minds and are just sharing what they are listening to. In WAYWT people post to get opinions good or bad. If they didn't want opinions then they would post in the pics only WAYWT. There's a time and point where your supposed to just bite your tongue. Whether you agree with it or not and this was one of them...

yes! i wasnt asking for criticisms on my music, just posting what i was listening to then.

i dont like most of the things ppl post, but im not gna neg it...cause i cant hate on things that probably make other ppl happy. its not detrimental to their health or style, so they can keep listening alllllll they want.

btw, metallicas original unforgiven is one of my most fave songs ever, z!!!
