myspace causes too much damn drama! My boyfriend and I use it to piss each other off. We'll take each other off the top 8 and we both refuse to change our statuses from "Single" to see who will cave in first. That of course, causes us to get random messages and comments from people hitting on us, and that pisses the other person off. It's a vicious cycle! Don't sign up!!

how do some people have less than 8 in their top 8? like but they have 20 friends? can someone give me that code or w/e it takes to do so?

less than 8 or more than 8 in their top 8? i think less than 8 happens when someone in their top 8 deletes off of myspace... and there are codes out there where you can get more than 8 in your top 8. hope this helps!

actually... a friend of mine was in my top 8 and then he discontinued his account so afterwards I had only 7.

nah its not that, cuz when i first signed up, and started getting friends it chose 8 for me based of the first friends i had.....grrr its driving me crazy!

Hmmm, I would think you could edit the HTML for the top 16 code out there so that you can have less. Most of those MySpace codes are just made up of HTML and CSS anyway.
