i just purchased a pair of ZAF 772 from dieselofmiami

hello all, i searched through the forums to find the thread that someone posted pics of the zaf. i couldnt find the thread so i just thought i just make one up. anyways...

dieselofmiami is one the authentic sellers on ebay, i just want to know if anyone has purchased a pair of ZAF 772 of raul?? from what i see the jeans are real, i touched the material of jeans and i find that it is alot lighter and some what smoother... if anyone has purchased a pair please post ur threads. to me it is authentic, but i just want to make sure because i do plan to make more purchases from raul. another thing i noticed on the microstitching, there is a number above the 77 code... the size was 30 x 32

E6B200001 - thats the code, is this common... cmon peeps im getting worried!

hey Q, to back up the authenticity just look at the Indian Head tag as ppl like to call it. Check to make sure the silver line has the words Diesel etched into it. Also turn the leans inside out and observe all the stichings and stuff. I wish i had pics topost but i don,t sorry. Oh and by the way is your first name Quang? just wondering because my cousin's name's Quang. I'm Vietnamese too!

All of the diesel jean tags have a bunch of numbers on the indian head tag, its just that sometimes its stitched into the seam so you cant see it. Some of the fakes have this too tho so dont take that alone as a sign of authenticity. For instance, here it is on a pair of real rabox 805:



and here it is on a fake zathan 772:



As far as dieselofmiami goes - people in here have differing opinions of him here, but most certainly the jeans he sells are authentic diesel. You should be aware that some of them are flawed but in my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I've always been happy and gotten nice stuff from him.

hey hows it going... nah it quy haha. yeah have you purchased jeans from dieselofmiami before.. this is the first time for me. Ive been burnt in the past with zathans 772, so i dont trust anyone on ebay! anyways, the microstitching looks real, i was trying to read the letters on the microstitching and it looks diesel if you combine the letters together. i dont know, the strip above the indian head starts with 77 BB or something like that, im just curious with the code above the 77 strip.

The hard to read code is "77 55 RR" RR is the initials or Renzo Rosso. Just somet6hing i thought you'd like to know. This code is standard on all jeans. I checked at least 9 models and they all have "77 55 RR"

yeah, that tag you just displayed is awful! the zaf i just got has no flaws, dieselofmiami would of mentioned it on the add. i just want to know if anyone who has purchased the zaf 772 from him.

i would post some pics but i dont have a digital camera.. and also the zaf 772 has PURPLE stitching when you turn the jeans inside out. so if anyone who has pics of the ZAF 772 from dieselofmiami POST THEM UP PLZ!!!!

My ZAF 796 from urban outfitters also uses purple thread on the inside of the legs.

Hey man, I don't know about the ZAF, but I have bought about 4 pairs from Raul and all have been real and most of them were used that were his from his collection, but he states the flaws on them in the auction, so ya man. Just look around for what you want. I think www.universalgear.com is selling those jeans as well, so just take your pick.

DIesel completely messed up the 772 wash this season. Either that, or dieselofmiami wasnt being truthful about the nature of the defects. Look off-wash (compared to other 772's). But then again, the only thing that matter is what you think of them.

They look nice and as i see in diesel shops. Perhaps zathansrule expect these to be covered with diamond to impress him.
Anyway, Can i just ask you though do you also wear a 30 in zathans? I'd love to get meself a pair of zaf!

yeah im a 30 waist in zathans.. zathansrule, this pair didnt have any defects. i just need someone to post somes replys back because ive seen dieselofmiami selling like 4 pairs of 30x32 zaf 772 last week. i agree with you though, the 772 has changed alot though!

Its diesels fault. I've seen other new-season cuts in 772 and NONE of them have that ultra-bleachy-coating look of the old 772s. The lemmen 772 is about the last one I saw which looked close to being like the old zathans. I saw a woman trying on a 772 which almost looked like a 773 with distressings

Those are nice looking pair of jeans! I'm thinking of getting one BUT>>>

Is it just me or the 772 wash this season is not as appealing as the previous years? I don't know, they look too plain to me now. Reminds me of an 832 wash with scratches. And what's up with the scratches? I like how the older scratches better than the new ones.

Maybe they made the 772 tougher and the 'holes' not as obvious because people complained the older bleachy and bigger hole ones fall apart easily? I don't know. But they should update the wash back on how it was RIGHT NOW.
