eBay Retribution?

I bought a pair of Seven jeans off of eBay from the seller jerseyssuitsandmore (here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT). Now that I've found this site, I'm 99% sure the jeans are fakes. The tag lists "Made in Mexico" and style T520E061U-061U and Cut # 700412, I did a search and another forum member questioned the the authenticity of a pair of Sevens with the same info. So like I said, I'm 99% sure they're fakes.

What kind of recourse do I have against the eBay seller jerseyssuitsandmore? I haven't worn or washed the jeans, and they came without tags, so they're in the same condition as when I received them. Also, I paid for them using PayPal and the seller proclaims: "YOU ARE BIDDING ON AN AUTHENTIC PAIR OF SEVEN JEANS FOR MEN!!!" Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Contact paypal and file a complaint bc of authenticity...you may have to submit a letter showing that theyre not authentic but that shouldn't be hard! Also the seller will have to PROVE to paypal that they ARE authentic once receiving that kind of complaint.

First I would just contact the seller, not do a chargeback. They probably know they sell fake merchandise and will give you your money back so you DON'T do a chargeback. I would only do the chargeback after trying to deal with the seller.

HA HA!

Found this on a google search.These fools ripped me off too.I sent them a check for a jersey I bought 5 weeks ago.The check cleared 3 weeks ago and they said they never got it.When the bank faxed them a copy of the check with THEIR name on it they started ignoring me.I think the item is out of stock and theyb are still putting them up for bid.EBAY seems not to care.They have 1 bad feedback in every 20.lame.

Here's what you should do: take the loss and never buy from ebay again. Thats all. What else can you do at this point? Its like the sucker who gets hosed at a three card monty game on the street and keeps going back.

This was my first purchase from ebay.I have since bought 3 things and not had a problem.

EBAY should care more than they do though.

One main reason this board is here is to help people looking to buy on ebay. Hopefully enough people will find this before buying fakes.... but you have to understand that not everyones going to give up on ebay because they got "duped" once. --You dont agree that you can find deals on ebay for authentic jeans!?

Of course you can find deals on ebay. However it isnt recommended that someone who doesnt know much about the items buy anything from ebay. Its not even about fakes. There is also the issue of fit, low quality pics and just that sense of disappointment that many can experience when buying from ebay. You probably know better than me about just how many people come on this site asking about fit and saying that they never tried a pair of sevens on in their lives. What kind of answer can they expect.

yeah you're very right about the fit....its definitely not recommended to buy your first pair of 7s without trying on...i did this and was in for a surprise! but after you know around what size, what materials fit best, etc. (and what to look for in fakes), you can find good deals if you search. i just prefer ebay strictly because of the prices (and because i already know about the above-mentioned things). ebay ISN"T the only place you can find deals....but i think you said in another post-that maybe people get rich by not paying those designer prices for jeans...that what im trying

I havent seen them in stores yet and they actually look like something different (at least for guys). Look a bit "slim" though.

Yeah I like them though...the wash and everything. Never seen flynts for guys. I definitely think the slim leg would only look good on some people-and with certain shoes

I've seen those in stores and tried them on in the new york dark wash. They're VERY slim, I had to go up so many sizes to get a pair that fit that I kind of called the whole thing off. The ones in that color are made in the most luxurious-feeling denim. Actually dave and I were in a store that carried them where he was visiting here and we both were astonished at the quality of the material. Almost silk-like.

are the womens' Flynts reallly slim and straight leg as well? I guess the leg bottoms would only be good with sneakers.

They have a slight flare (more bootcut) they look good on women with high heels

I dont think high heels are a viable option for me A little bit of flare would be good enough for boots which is fine by me. Now all I have to worry about is the degree of slimness that I can handle
