True...but usually if someone is at a healthy, natural weight for their body, they eat a substantial amount. Starvation also causes mania...anorexics are notorious for surviving on tiny quantities of food while being obscenely overactive.

I actually find I have the most energy when my stomach is empty (up to a point). Food makes me sluggish, even though I'm a super-healthy eating vegetarian.

On the subject of greasy food, I think it just makes everyone feel like crap and have a stomachache, no medical problem necesarry for that one. Especially if you don't eat it very often, look at what happened to the guy on Supersize Me!!! I am a vegetarian also and WISHED we had a restaraunt here, we have nothing!! I miss S.F. and the food.

i just had the most horrible bfast service ever! the waitress rushes us to make our order and then we had to ask 3x for water refills (and the water was the worst tasting tap water ever). i tipped her 40c (from 13.10 to make an even 13.50)... was that bad? i've never done it before but i felt so pissed off!

I did that once, and while I'd do it very, very rarely, the bitchy, rude attitude and lack of service at one breakfast place here forced my hand. A tip should reflect the level of service you are offered. Usually, even with medium-poor service, I'll leave the basic 15%, but like I said, sometimes service will be super rude or something and will merit far less.

I can eat all the greasy food I want and feel fine. If I eat a high carb vegetarian meal on the other hand, I will either faint or pass out from glycemic overload.

does anyone else find that mcdonalds french fries are the BEST remedy to hangovers? i think it's the grease that soaks up the excess alcohol? i am probably talking outta my ass here but i always eat a large order of fries after a rough night out.

High carb means nothing. What matters is what kind of carbs you eat. But don't get me started on this. I have issues with the whole Glycemic Index diets and what not.

I think there is some truth to what you mentioned. I visited a Hangover Website where people posted their remedies. A large majority of the people mentioned eating a big greasy meal. While that might work for some, I am not sure I could stomach that when I feel I am on the verge of barfing. I think that would probably tip me over the edge

Haha, no, it's rediculously good. It's like an oz Vanilla Vodka, 1/2 oz Grenadine, and mix cranberry + pineapple juice. If you get the amounts right, it tastes exactly like a strawberry (or cherry, depends on your perception) cheesecake.
