something fishy?
Fishy? yes. She buys regular jeans, then alters them to be maternity jeans. And sells them as if they were maternity jeans. Not as if they were jeans made into maternity...

uh, hell yeah. Just look up the selling if timeofmylife. And compare what they sell to what chipwax has bought....

Definitely. *NODS* Also, Char just sold her used Bombay maternity jeans for $86.00 . . . and the band on them was even a little worn out!

And they also go high mabye because when someone is preggos they might not want to get like 20 pairs just a few....so they don't mind paying a lot
post #18 of 39
I also sold my Blue Cult Maternity for 61.01 and I paid 60.99 and I paid 73.76 for my Sevens that sold for 86.00. I wouldn't think a pair of twice used regular jeans would sell for the same amount you bought them for. If I knew how to make the maternity bands I'd def. consider doing what timeofmylife is doing. It really doesn't look that difficult...maybe I can get my mom to do it

I am pretty sure they sell the kits at like those crafts stores

actually someone on here posted a picture of their jeans that they made into maternity jeans. She bought a pair that were bigger than their normal size, didn't cut anything off, and just sewn the band part on. If I remember correctly they did it to a pair of crystal mnes. The band, it looks like, can be taken off, if someone were to cut the seams.
