Hudson Jeans Fit Advice

Hi all! I'm venturing into the world of Hudson Jeans and am seeking your professional consult.

I'm eyeing a pair of the Horseshoe pocket stretch denim on Ebay from the seller Daily Denim but am unsure of what size to go for. I'm a 26 in most denim- Roth R & R (which thanks to Honest Forum's advice, I was told run big and they do!), select 7 styles, and Blue Clut. BUT I'm pretty much a 27 in Chip & Pepper and some Paper Denim.

What do you think I should go with in the Hudson Horseshoe style?

26. they stretch a lot.

Thank you! Do have this style? Do you like them?

I read on a bunch of different websites selling the same style that they run SMALL. However, I was concerned with the stretch factor (that ultimately happens with a lot of premium denim.) thanks again.

i actually do have the horseshoe pocket in the destroyed wash, bought from dailydenim as well.

They stretch out a lot, get the smaller of the sizes you wear. Also do a board search on how Hudson's fit, it's been discussed many times.

How accurate are the measurements on DailyDenim's auctions? Because although the measuremenst seem right for a size 26, everyone has been saying to size down in the Hudsons...

It's unanimous that I should size down and I almost did from Daily Denim until...

I went to Active Endeavors to try them on as they had the Horseshoe pocket on sale for 77.00 in store...I tried on the 26 (which I normally am) and I couldn't get the buttons to meet! Hand to God I was huffing and puffing in the dressing room trying to squeeze my hips into them. The 27s were what I had to go with. I was really surprised since everyone said to size down.

Some washes are much smaller than others, as in the Destroyed wash seems to run pretty small. Also some styles run smaller/larger than others..IMO it is a little hard to put a blanket statement of sizing on Hudson. However they ARE very stretchy..

Ditto, they stretch out ALOT. I'd say close to a size.

I'd go strictly with waist measurements with Hudson.

Some of their styles, the waists only measures 1" bigger than the size, others measure 3" bigger. I think they run all over the place and the safest thing to do is to see what the waists meausres for the style you are interested in and compare them to your jeans at home.

Hi, My actual size is 26" waist and 35" hips, please suggest the right Hudson jeans size for me please ? Thank you

Based on 35" hips, you are probably a true size 26. (The fact that your natural waist apparently matches that tag size is almost coincidental, since no one wears jeans at the natural waist anymore, and women's curves follow all kinds of different proportions!) Whether or not Hudsons run true to size, I'm not sure of, since I've never sold or measured any.
