Have you made a trip into the rural United States lately? I know where I live (and where a lot of other people that post here live) there are very few people who wear SFAM or any premium denim, for that matter, and I definitely wouldn't say that everyone can afford jeans that retail for $100-$300 at least. I think a lot of us people that live in the rural parts probably see a lot of Wal-Mart/K-Mart brand, tapered, and washed out 80s lookin' jeans around our parts. I'm a big fan of both TR and SFAMK, as well as some other premium denim designers, so I'm not trying to hate just because you said you can't stand SFAM.
yeah, definately know where you are coming from! for most people i know $90 still is a lot of money to blow on a pair of jeans, so no...not everybody has them or can afford them. i spend around the same amount for my TRs as I do my Sevens, so i dont see TRs being that much more exclusive. I love TR, but sometimes they take it too far with stuff like the Ashburys.
wow, I don't spend nearly as much for SFAM as I did for my TR. I am about as cheap as can be.

i like a lot of variety i think the different back pocket styles of seven are good and cute.

Didnt mean to offend anyone who had the Ashbury's. I dont really care for them based on pics, but i have never seen them in person. Maybe you could post some pics of you wearing them
I have Woodstocks, but haven't fallen in love with them yet...i dont know if i can pull off the TRs that are more 'out there'. I think the Godivas look pretty cool, but i dont know if i would be comfortible having a topless woman on my jeans. (i know you have those luvapup
I think my point was that the poster was criticizing all of the different pocket designs 7 comes out with, but there are a lot of TRs that are more 'out there' than anything 7 has made.

There are also a lot more posts about TRs falling apart after 1 wash than there are about Sevens falling apart....

I haven't liked any of the ones that I tried on.

They have some good washes though and they look good on most girls.

As for TR, Adore them, and with sales, yes most can afford them.

Like I siad, its all my opinion.

I actually hemmed some Sevens that I had, after hemming them, they completly fell apart in the washer. The edges frayed and started to come apart. With my TRs and Earnest Sewns.. it never happened. And anyway.. if jeans look hideous on somone.. I DOUBT they are going to like 'em. Everyones knows that.
You should do a search on the forum, about TR's ripping right on the ass!

I don't think that I was criticizing. I just used the pictures to prove a point. I dont, by any means believe that SFAM pockets are 'out there'. I just didnt like the fit, quality and the numerous pocket styles. I don't think that True Religion designs are out there either. But, everyone has different tastes. Thats why I said it was all IMO
