Well, I received my Dark Premium Sammys from Carbar3 today. The good new is that the funny fading in their pics is very normal fading (IMO). They must just have a sh***y camera The VERY BAD news is that the inseam is only 30"!!! (doesn't even touch the ground when I'm in bare feet). The listing said the inseam was 33.5"....that's just a little off They've had to be hemmed, although looks like original hem re-attached.

I guess I'm about to find our how their customer service is

Here are some pics I took. Maybe I should confirm authenticity before I email the seller....











I also noted some "wear" on the inside pockets (you can see the "fuzzies" in my pocket pic). Is this part of the distress process with TR or have these jeans been worn??

...and they actually fit (except for the length)

wow that looks totally diff from their pics...I dunno that BIN price may have been too good to be true for NWT Sammys, I think they have been worn and retagged

Spongebob...I can not believe that the inseam was so short!! I remember when you bought these from him.
I would definetly email him and tell him his measurements are way off!!! UGG...what a pain for you...

Does that happen at The Rack?? Could the pockets look a little worn from the distressing process?

Are they authentic?????

I just looked at my Sammy that I got NWT from wasntme. I wore them once, haven't washed yet, and my pocket lining is a little pilly. This may just be the way they get from distresing/washing at manufacture. IMO you may be able to resell them for more than you paid, considering they are a shorter inseam! Some of the size 28 girls may go for them! Might do you better than returning?

Is the distressing in my pics pretty accurate for the Dark Premium?

....just want to make sure they're authentic before even thinking of offering them up for sale

I think they look pretty good! That hem though...they could be a return, maybe he didn't actually measure the hem & didn't notice?

That hem is FANTASTIC!! I can not even tell how they did that one! It doesn't look like the sandwich method at all!! Its definitely not the other method either!! WOW! I am really confused! They only look redone underneath! Is it actually the sandwich method? I just can't see it!

Don't ask me I live in a very small town. When I ask about hemming and re-attaching the original hem the tailors look at me like I have 2 heads

I think some sammys must be made at that length because I got some dark premiums at Playhouse and they were that exact inseam. It was fine for my height though so I didn't mind.

I think I almost agree here..My Med Premium are about 4 inches shorter than my Old Multi's! MrsB would know the inseams better, she has way more sammy to compare...I think the jeans are good. Plus that distressed spot at the left inside bottom leg...its really in the right place IMO! How could that be if they were hemmed?? I am not able to figure this..

THOSE WERE NOT HEMMED.

I say this because I am comparing them to my med prem as I sold my dk prem and they are the same color stitiching, same bold stitching at the inside seam of the hem, the distressing is where it's supposed to be and everything looks good. These must be an irregular though or something as mine are a 33" inseam and I checked my closed auction for the dk prem and those were a 34" inseam. Very strange. I would try and sell them in the HM if possible and if not, contact seller and or file with paypal.

Yeah, they really don't look hemmed to me much either, though that one pic, I think I can see some sandwich..they are amazing..all I can say...resell is my opinion spongebob..then you can buyanother pair! You got a super deal! IMO ...wait, I'm Pming you!

I just wanted to add a post about the seller Carbar3 for those searching him......

When I emailed him about the short inseam he didn't hesitate to offer to refund me He responded to me right away. I would definitely deal with him again in the future....just get a "confirmation" on the measurements

i have also gotten a few pairs of "new" TRs from ebay and the inside pockets are pily. The rest of the jeans looks like they could be new, though all of the new TRs I have gotten from online boutiques have inside pockets with no piling and have more stiffness to them. I am wary to resell the jeans as being new even though i never wore them myself. I am curious if people like MrsB who buy their TRs new have ever had inside pockets with piling when they get them.

I've had a couple of members tell me that they bought these jeans brand new and had some piling on the pockets. Must be the distressing process for this particular wash I figure.
