Kooba bags

Does anyone know how to authenticate one of those? I'm looking at a few on Ebay, and while googling "fake Kooba" hasn't helped me, I find it hard to believe that a $600 bag would really sell for $170. Help, anyone?

It seems unlikely to me too, but you never know. My suggestion would be to post it on the purse forum and see what they say. Also, mypoupette.com can authenticate designer bags. I think it costs $5 for Louis Vuitton and $15 for other designer brands. You can read their rules before using them, but they are a trustworsty and repected service.

I don't think it's against the rules to tell you about a different website, right? I mean we don't do purses here, so it's not a conflict of interest. Go to purseforum.com. It's like this site but for designer purses. Have fun!

The girls at purseforum are wonderful! They can help authenticate pretty much any brand! And there are lots of fake Kooba on ebay. Don't know how to authenticate one yet myself either! Check out the sales at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf. I think I may have seen some there!

Thank you girls. Wow... the purseforum is incredible... I can't afford to "hang out" there though... jeans are an expensive enough addiction, but if I start buying $25,000 hermes bags that'll be the end of it.

I can't seem to navigate purse forum properly... I wanted to know about a Coach Motif bag but purseforum is just too complicated for me lol I have to count on the Honestforum members !!

Kooba bags are on sale at the TR sample sale in NYC, ranging from $125 to about $200 ...
