I keep hearing about these popped collars. I myself have never had the displeasure of seeing one. Perhaps I should be thankful.

Anyways, I'm not sure if this is a 'trend', but I fucking hate Lacoste shoes. I don't mind the polos (something classic can never be trendy in my opinion), but the shoes are truly horrendous.

Flip flops. I don't mind them so much in the summer, but I was still seeing people here wearing them as late as November and December.

Agree! And EVERY other conceivable color! Also, not a trend, but I cannot stand all of the girls with the 'muffin tops' (too tight jeans that squeeze their fat out of the top of their jeans!) GROSS! Hands-free headsets for cellphones everywhere. I can understand that at work or when driving, but not in the public when you are walking down the street or shopping. Not only does it make you look like a lunatic, but it's also dangerous because most of the time the yakkers are not aware of the traffic or people around you.

Oh my god ! I agree!! The worst is when they are walking around with a hands free YET using their hands to hold the earpeice in and the mic closer to their mouth...uh, uses less hands just to hold the phone.

I also can't stand the stupid slogan t-shirt, esp. when wore by famous people and esp. when talking about sex. You know the ones... the "I slept with your boyfriend"... GROW UP.

And unfortunately to those who like them... Uggs.

The worst Trend of 2005?

I agree, those little shrug sweaters are ugly. I thought we got rid of them in the year 2001 only for them to pop back up again.

Even though i have a pair of uggs i must they that they are a pretty bad trend. I wear them cuz the city i live in is one of the coldest in the world and it then becomes a comfort reason. But really.....uuuuugh!

As much as I LOVE thongs, women who walk around blatantly showing off 'the string' kinda irritates me, and usually the girls doing this are attention seekers.

Personally, I prefer the commando look anyways (on women).

Comando look eh?? I am really gonna have to try that if i ever get really low rise jeans.

Sometimes my thong sticks out and i hate it but it usually happens when i am not wearing the right panties. Thank god the style for this year isn't low rise. :P

lol for the record, I think it's hot when you get a peek at a thong or g-string, it's best when you can only see it when they bend over a little, hhhmmmm, but I'm a guy and easily amused like that.


And I'm with motocross, I hate that shapeless hobo look.

i agree, the homeless boho look is awful.



also, remember how EVERYBODY had the crocs or the payless lookalikes last summer? i still see people walking around in crocs with different color straps or different color for each foot...
(note, i have a pair of crocs from last year that i wear if i know i am going to get my shoes wet/muddy, and they are great for that purpose. still they were way overdone last year and definately not very attractive

I have a half shirt sweater thingy.. I wear it over a camisole. I think its useful for covering up in mass.

I didn't appreciate crocs, minis over tights, and gauchos.

I think the teenage pink popped collar and sunglasses/big gold necklace thing was blown up by the Gotti boys.

Never heard of muffin tops, but I hate when girls do that and then wear a really short shirt that shows it... yuck. Also, I hate when girls have like an inch of blond, then an inch of brown/black - kinda reminds me of a skunk, or red hair underneath when there is blond on top.

On the subject of tees with incredibly lame slogans/comments... I hated that Eva Longoria wore a black tank with "MEXICAN" printed on her tits and then she goes and bashes some Mexican that pulls her boyfriend over. What a dumb bitch. Inflated ego and all, I would smack her if I ever saw her with that Mexican tee on
