the worst trends of 2005.

in your opinion, what were the most annoying/ridiculous trends of the year? i work at the only respectable mall in this god forsaken town, so day after day, i am repeatedly forced to witness the most horrendous fashion mistakes (and at the same time, restrain myself from setting my own face on fire). because remember when we used to discuss fashion on here? REMEMBER?

i happen to see alot of younger girls wearing silly, pointless little mini-cardigans these days. (shrugs, or bolero sweaters, if you will...)

i think those should be added to a very long list of "terrible things that should not be worn by people."

I have seen an insanely amount of pink polo shirts and tshirts
post #8 of 132
I agree with the pink, also what the hell is up with wearing two polo shirts each with a popped collar one underneath the other? Maybe the toxic fumes of NJ are getting to me but that is just awful.

excessive collar popping. i dont want to say ALL collar popping because im a nice guy, but i saw a lot of guys at school who did it every day.
didn't we already have a double polo, pink polo, polo with popped collar discussion somewhere?
Could we make this a death to the pink popped pollo discussion? :P

jet- that was just nasty!

I saw a 10 year old boy the other day wearing a pink hat, black shorts, black shoes with pink shoe laces and a pink shirt that said "tough guys wear pink"

ok I agree with those tiny sweaters or shrugs, what's the point?? If you're cold how is a cropped sweater gonna help??

I hate it when guys wear their jeans past their butt so you can see their butt sticking out with their oh so cool boxers, and I can't believe they have the audacity to wear a belt at the same time. Isn't the point of a belt to keep your pants up not hangin off your A**??
I'm never gonna let my boys dress like that!
Another one is girls with their itty bitty minis. If I wanted to see the crease of your butt cheeks I would watch Cinemax (skinemax) or Porn.

Yep, that is what I was going to say. No offense to collar poppers

I'd have to say those little yellow wrist bands. It got to the point where 99% of them were fake LOL
