Anyone tried the Sanon?

I know a few of you don't like them at all. I do however like the flare they have.
I've heard from some of you that there is a "recall" or something?
I was just wondering what the fit is like. I have the Zathan, Zaf and some Yokees and wondering what the difference are.

Thanks in advance for any comments!!

I too would like to know. I like flare jeans but not if they are baggy. If I remember correctly someone said they fit really baggy.

I tried them at the store, and they're definately my next purchase. I liked the way they fit a lot... I would say similar to the zaf but not as baggy as say rumbum. Also have a boot cut leg.

if i'm a 32 in ZAF, i should get a 31 in Sanon? that is what i"m thinking. So maybe they won't be too baggy for me.
i dont think they're too baggy. Macys has the 82v and the zaf 796 on sale already for 30% off, but on Friday, they are going down to 50% and they have a coupon for an additional 15% off. Considering the sanon 82v just came out, one might find a good opportunity to own them for under $60!!! Hey, dont say you werent told of this deal. If I happen to go and get that deal, dont complain cause I let everyone know

Could anyone get me a pair of these? The closest Macy's is over 2 hours away and I don't have time to go that far.

yeah, beware about the Sanon T10. I forgot to mention this in my previous post. They are a full inch shorter than they should be. I have seen them in the real size inseam at the diesel store, so its possible that its only a few of them that had the problem. Also, the wash is nothing like the 710. Its much more dull and less exciting and they cost more. Not recommended. Go with the 82v which has a selling price of $140

i noticed they only had a few sizes left, but you can try calling--they could deliver over the phone.

My local Diesel has the Sanon 710 .. everything about it is just breath taking. Haven't seen one of these on-line yet but they are just perfect..the 710 fabrics and a very nice back pockets designs
post #12 of 24
relax, dude. they are like a duller version of the 710 wash. The back pockets were already knocked off by H&M and Zara, so several people are walking around with designs exactly like those. And for $220 you could do much better than a pair of high water, high rise, saggy off-color jeans

This is a pair I bought at Nordstrom's last week. I really like it, it fits tighter than the Zaf, and has less of a flared leg. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is that the pockets are soo long. But it is growing on me. More pics at the links listed.

This is very true. I have seen a rise in this at H&M especially. H&M's denim is of very poor quality and won't last. Even Mavi jeans now has a pair that look identical to the Zathan 772, whiskering and all.

I was referring to the T10 wash specifically. Of course I agree with you abou the quality of lower-end denims. I would include a lot of brands under low quality, some even that many people pay good money for. However, I'll be
nice and keep my comments to myself. The sanon 82v is hot. I'm hoping Macys gets my size while their sale is still going on.
hey zathansrule, you wouldn't be able to grab a pair of sanon 82vs at the sale in 28x32, would you?
I just called nordstrom...and the lady said that shipping rate would be $60 for your order. It is cheap if I order 2-5 jeans but it will be expensive by the time they got here because of tax and blah blah blah....I think it's better to buy this in ebay (dieselofmiami and italiandepot) if available or order them via blm14....that's just information for those who doesn't live in US anyway
post #19 of 24
Have you actually seen the back pocket design of the sanon 710?
Macys does not carry any sizes smaller than 30. If you wear any size smaller than 30, you have to use the diesel store--they're about your only hope
post #21 of 24
yeah, I suspected as much...after all, toronto's a fairly large city yet we've got maybe three stores that ever carry diesel men's denim in a 28 waist...never anything in a 27, of course. I've had to turn to energie fletwood recently; a 29 fits just about perfectly, but of course it's nowhere near as well-detailed as a good pair of diesels.

Here is the Sanon in the 710 wash. I don't know what Diesel was thinking...Out of all the ugly jeans that Diesel has created for this next season, I would say this has to be the ugliest. The wash is okay, but the back pockets are hideous. I for one would never wear a pair of jeans around that had writing stitched on one pocket and two starts and a planet on the other.
Well I hope those aren't the typical 710 Sanon because I seriously have never seen anything uglier.

I hope to be the idiot who gets the sanon 710... need to see if he could give me further discount first though. I like them
