I noticed that they always say that to wash it on a 30c temperature. Would washing jeans on cold water damage it or shrink it? I've always wondered if it's true.

I always use cold water. Hot water generally can make fabrics shrink and cold water is less likely to make the colors and detailing come out.

Diesel is pre-washed, so unless you run it through the wash 15 times in really hot water and then dry it another 15 times, you really shouldnt experience any major shrinkage. However, if you wash your jeans and you have a good wash like the 796, 770, 82w, 82h, you will lose the shine of the jeans indefinetely.
