I found a couple of new styles on ebay, ones I haven't seen in any of the stores yet:

ZAF 832:

Levan:
764 (my new favorite wash!):

881:

Zathan in 82N!

Love all the new back-pocket designs.

I love the 881 color. Its very underrated but it washes well and looks good if you buy it in a nice style. The best styles for it are the Yokees and the Cardiel. The Levan is not really a fit I go crazy for. It is actually an older fit. I saw them in Europe this past summer and it seems like they will be officially making their debut in America this year. They kinda fit like the Jeeves, only more awkward. The zaf, moorix, and clerby are cool styles--and look for the Bumics--those rock

I just picked up some cardiels in 881, will post pix when I get a chance; I like that one too. Especially the scratchy-looking effect on the leg.

What cut is the levan similar to?

I tried on moorix yesterday at the store, I like that one a LOT. Its a lot like cardiel. My only thing is I want it in a wash other than 796 which I cant seem to find yet (I've already got 4 other cuts in 796 which is enough).

The Levan is like a cross between the rabox and the jeeves, but in all honestly, the rabox and the jeeves actually fit better. I tried on a pair of exlusive Levan ones made just for Barneys and they were like $260 bucks. I guess the prices are just going through the roof

Yeah I like the rabox a lot so I guess I will stick with those. I've noticed that diesel prices have generally been going up kinda fast. This season's stuff is mostly $175 and up, whereas before $175 was about the top end of the range. I got my first pair, a rivec 793, from the diesel store for like $125 like 3 years ago which seems rather reasonable by today's standards.

i saw a Sanon 710 but they didn't have my size. The back pocket art is just simply breath takin however the legs appeared to just be too damn big.. Tried to Levan and the moorix but i think they were just not that great. the hippix is nice..sort of like nadar made love to bumix and delivered the hippix ? Anyway, hoping there'd be something interesting up ahead..aanyone know when they will update their website and put on new models?

The sanon are a disaster. I am hearing that diesel messed up on the inseam on those and a lot of stores are sending them back. Apparently they're a little shorter than marked. I would have to say that the new stuff isnt very enticing, so whether or not they update the site, 2005 may be a dull year for the diesel collection. Lets hope they can redeem themselves in 2006

I too am unimpressed with the spring/summer 05 Diesels. The Hippix is way too weird and I think that the entire line is going to be too far out. Too bad, I was hoping to see some great stuff. ZAF is about all I see that I am impressed with.

I think they are focusing on things like back pocket design and extra details all over the jeans instead of focusing on fit and quality. Sometime the less we have as far as details, the better the jeans look. The washes are pretty good, but most of the styles except for maybe the zaf and the bumics, are pretty overdone.

You said "bumics" is that the same thing as bumix? Just wondering cause they had kuratt and kratt it seems like.
Oh man, whoever likes the bumix will LOVE the bumics. It seems like diesel touched up the fit and added some cool colors on those jeans. So far, the only ones out in stores, the 886 wash go for $250--you've been warned..lol.., but definetely the straight leg jeans of the year for diesel

seen the bumics but never tried them on. didn't fancy the looks or the colors. i can get them bout 150 but are they that good? i like the wash 82w and they only have them in clerby which i already got the 82l...

i agree with this. when i saw the hippix i shuddered. the carpenter pocket is the worst thing ever. all these new washes are nice but it won't matter if the jeans don't fit nice. i wish they had some more "normal" cuts.

the sanon definitely does suck. it's super baggy, i felt like a raver when i tried them on. i guess if i get a new pair of jeans this year they'll have to be zathans or cardiels. those are the only ones right now that i truly like. if only they'd keep making tiiners.

The Bumics in the link is NOT the one I saw in the stores. Those are already in discount store sales bins--even before they came out in stores! I think thats probably cause something is wrong with them. I am talking about hte 880 wash and another wash (i forget the number). Once you guys start seeing them in the store, you'll know what I was talking about.
