I was just ripped off on ebay on some fake Zathans. I've contacted paypal about it. Do they actually get around to taking action? Anyone have stories??

I've seen people in here who've tried to use paypal to dispute, and usually they will ask you for some sort of written proof from a third party that the jeans are fake. I believe that they require you to try one of those mitigation services first too (safeharbor?). Anyways, good luck and keep us posted. Don't lose track of the seller's name and mailing address. I've had some luck just calling them and discussing things on the phone.

Yeah PayPal requires in writing from a reputable dealer, proof of the counterfeit. Your best bet is usually to contact the seller and threaten to take action with eBay, leave negative feedback, and get a chargeback thru PayPal. Usually you can get your money back before needing to follow through on all your threats. However, if that doesn't work then go to a Diesel store and find a nice employee. Your choice.

Hi there,
I think that is the only way. You need to visit diesel store to check the authenticity of the jeans. Somtimes the store employee does not want to give written statement. If that is the case, just get his/her name and his/her position and you tell ebay/paypal/ seller that you they can contact this person about your jeans. I think I bought a fake zathan from denimkingdom, but fortunately they allow me to return the jeans. At that time, I told the denimkingdom that the jeans are fake and I would leave a negative feedback for selling fake diesel. Fortunately they allow me to return the jeans even though they keep insistaing they sold only authentic diesel jeans.
So, first tell the problem with your seller and see what is his/her reaction.
If it's not working then, you need to visit diesel store, which can be troublesome if there is no diesel store in your town.
Good luck.
