Selling price for Thavar 888p and Thavar 886b?

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about selling my Thavar 886b and Thavar 888p IF they still have a decent market price. If not, I will keep them :)

Can you guys help me with the market price for these?

Both 29x30.

Both shortened from L32 with original hem.

888p never washed and 886b washed once.

Both in fine condition.

Thanks in advance!

Well with the alterations and the washing I don't think you'll get much for them. Most buyers look for unaltered and unwashed. I wouldn't pay more than €60-70 for them.

The problem is that they hzve been hemmed. Their value fall dramatically.

i can attest to what Phukette and pryv75 said....either it has been hemmed but NEVER used (you could get around 100e), or then youd be looking at 60-70e at most

Ok, thanks guys! I'll just keep them.

even they hemmed and washed, don't forget that the 888p and 886b are so classic, wanted and sold out.

From my experience, you can sell them for 150$ for each.

I sold my thavar 886b last year because I sized down, and my pair was hemmed and washed, for 150$ on ebay.

Well...... I think getting $150usd on eBay for these 2 pairs will be a long shot.  there's a used 888P 29x32 on eBay right now and no biters @ $200..  I recently sold my 886B 28x30 unaltered for $80usd.

then minus eBay fees, paypal fees...  you can try to list it at high buy it now price, and if time isn't an issue for you just wait until someone wants it bad to pull the trigger.  but if you put it auction, I highly doubt you'll get $150 today.

Yes, I would recommend keeping your 888P at least - it's a truly lovely pair. I just wore mine yesterday, and was still amazed at the wash and fit. And it is a few years old. I know, right??
