Diesel Fall/Winter 2014 FW14 - Page 31

What would you like to see them do? They're never gonna be the type of manufacturer that wants to make jeans for the office, that you can wear with a button down. They have a section of plain jeans but the campaign stuff is always gonna be out there and always has been. You're not a fan of rips and distressing so maybe diesel isn't for you?

Diesel realesed this season some ugly washs, but this one isn't one of them, and very intersting and special for my taste.

I def agreed with Phukette - If you don't like it - leave it.

Spot on @ Phukette

Most brands will cater for the mainstream with simple washes which in my opinion Diesel does very well. This season there is an extensive selection of jeans that can be worn casually and wont draw too much attention. The higher end stuff will always be outrageous and for those willing to push the boundaries.

Ii also receieved Tepphar 833Y earlier this week, along with Tepphar 607P, 831D and Sleenker 830J.
I will get a review up towards the weekend of all pairs.

Argh ... I still don't have my Krayver 834B ... Giamat sent it, DHL doesn't have a specific delivery date and it takes a long while to get here from italy. I can't wait anymore!!

That was just my opinion.

But Diesel released many boring washes this season. Also quality is not the same, just take a look at blue eyecons. They are not what they used to be.

And you're entitled to your opinion, I'm not questioning that. But I think this is diesels strongest season in a couple of years. They always release a load of boring washes. And as for the blue eyecons I can only think of maybe 4 that are worth getting and they've been running for about 8-9 seasons now.
I agree with phukette actually. This is their strongest season in denim. The blue eyecons may not look as much, but its better than last seasons one. I just wanna see more unique washes, or bring a wash similar to the older ones
post #759 of 774
The problem for me is that the price of Diesel jeans this season seems to have skyrocketed
post #760 of 774
Now that I can agree with. Even non-MII washes are €200+. But I've also noticed every brand has been taking a price jump these past few years but diesel is taking the piss.

I know its probably a bit too early, but when are we supposed to start seeing parts of the next season? And what I mean by that is some pictures of jeans or even a catwalk show?

My guess is in late Fall. November, early December.

went to Passeig de Gracia today which is basically shopping heaven and of course stopped at the temple, the Diesel store xD i tried thavar 833Z, 833J , a sleenker of which i cannot remember the name right now, and thavar-ne 609M (all W29 except for the jogg which i tried in W28 but was very tight) . in love with all of them. and im starting to dig the fit of sleenker...

Its sleenker 830j.
Nice audit. sleenker all the way!!!
They all look very nice. How is the fit on 833z ?

Man @audit30 you just make me want to buy Sleenker 830J..... I was going to write off that wash but man it looks GREAT on you.

Hello Friends,
is the cut on thavar 833z mended with a patch? Anyone own this wash? Thx
post #769 of 774

i tried W29 on all three of them. the sleenker was the tightest and i also had to try it in 34L which is super long for me so i bet 30L will look better. but i loved the fit! like tight, but not too tight!

@denim addict the fit is nice. it reminds me of 8NE both in terms of wash and fit. it had the most relaxed fit,  out of the three washes i tried.

@Denim Collector this is a great wash....its probably the first time ive seen it in real life, but in the beggining i thought it was too extreme, then i saw a couple of photos here on the blog and yesterday i was like wow. both in terms of wash and in terms of fit !

Thanks man. They look little bit relaxed that's why i wanted to know. Summer is coming in Australia so I am looking for a light pair, Looks like i am leaning towards Thavar 880I from yoox.

Sleenker is my favorite fit for sure! Everything else is a bit too lose on me.

The cut by the pocket can rip if you pull it from the front... but the back there's patch underneath it.. blue one.. so people can't see through the hole and see your underwear.

Hey guys, I know I promised a review on the Krayver 834B, but I changed my mind about them. I was pretty busy the last two weeks and I just couldn't find a good time to wear them and do a review on them. So now I decided to just sell them. I know I promised some people I will do a review on them but I am a student and will be needing the money in the near future.

But I am sure there will be a lot more that I can get, for example the Tepphar 835L and the Tepphar 833Y. Both very interesting to me.

SO yes, basically thats what I wanted to say! :)

I know there are some people here who already own the Diesel Thavar 833Z. I just  want to ask how is the fit and comfortability of that wash?

Can you compare it to Thavar 829B or something else(recent)? So I can get the idea.

Is the denim very stiff and heavy or is it a bit light and comfy?
