Diesel Outlet (Bicester, UK)

Just wondered if any of the UK members on here have ever been to this outlet store. It's about a 2 hour drive from where I live and I'm thinking about heading up there in April, and just wondered if it's worth the journey? I mean, I don't wanna get there and for it to be a tiny shack with a tiny collection of jeans!

Thanks

I have been. Its a good sized store and in my experience they carry a lot of stock that is similar to that available on YOOX. Obviously it is from past season and they are roughly a year behind. As well as that - they also carry pairs that are specifically made for outlet stores, often the wash codes begin with an R. You may have seen some of them on ebay etc.

Overall its worth going for all the other stores they have at the village, but I didnt actually buy anything from Diesel on the two occassions I went.

Thanks for the heads up man.

I'll definitely pop up there then.

I actually ended up phoning them today, and they said they had krooley 811p on sale for £40, so that'd be worth the journey on it's own!

I wish there was someone who would help me and tell me if the Outlet store in Roermond, the Netherlands is any good as well :D
Im jealous that the English pals are exchanging so precious information while I feel so alone here and have to find everything by myself.

I've been up there too...Its about an hour from here.

I might pop up over the Easter holidays too!

Outlets usually have yoox collection, nothing too exciting. The only good thing is the 'faulty' section of the store. There you can find random jeans with minor damages for cheap.

Odd coincidence that you mentioned this as I am going up there today. Ill post a report on exactly what Diesel (and any other shops I visit) have. Ill probably end up buying a fair bit as Ive been training and have outgrown all my 28W jeans and Xsmall Tshirts.

If you could let us know what Thavar and Shioner they are carrying, that'd be great!

Also some pictures would be welcome as well ;-)

No pics Im afraid - my phone decided to go from 80% battery to 4% in the time it took me to reset it. Having said that, there wasn't much to take pics of. I returned empty handed. The main washes I saw were Darron 809v in a fair few sizes from 28 unto 34 and various leg sizes. I tried on a 29x32 but they were a bit too loose for my liking around the thighs and calves. That wash was £130.

Also tried on pair of Krooley 811p (again £130 - not sure where £40 came from!) in 28x30 but I don't think blue washes are made for me. I was hoping for more greys and browns but no such luck.

I didn't really look closely at the Iakops but they did have quite a selection of Iakops in a few colours. The only Belthers I saw were the 818v. The only Shioners I saw were 810m and limited selection of sizes. The only Thavars I saw that looked remotely interesting were the 807c but I couldn't bring myself to shell out on anything. I think its probably worth going again in a few weeks in the hope that some of the sale stuff from last season that is no longer available in the London stores is in stock.

hmmm, doesn't sound like much that would interest me at the moment, but like you say, give it another month and that might change!

Thanks for the low down anyway, it's much appreciated.

With regards to the Krooley being £40, he said they were the 'faulty' ones. I think like baltimore said, they have a faulty section where you can get really cheap jeans with small imperfections. Did you see that section?

I didn't see any section like that. There was a "final reduction" section but there was nothing great in there. Some jeans were marked down to £40 but didnt look like anything nice at all. I spent a fair amount of time looking for jeans so Im sure Id have spotted that

The first time I visited they had a rail of jeans that were all faulty and sold at a fixed price. Most of them had pretty noticeable floors though and not even worth the price they were offered at. I was really excited for a long time before visiting the outlet, but wouldnt rush back in a hurry now I have been twice. It is, pretty much the same stock as YOOX. You kinda hope that because its an outlet that youll go in there and maybe find a Thavar 888P for £50. Not goina happen.
