Zatiny Tightness

Hey there. What are peoples general opinions on Zatiny's being tight in the thigh area? Is it ok for this cut? I realise that if it was something like a Larkee then it wouldn't look good on me because they aren't meant to be that tight. All the Zatiny's ive tried have been relatively tight in that area. Not uncomfortable, just very form fitting. I like it actually and it feels pretty nice to wear but does it actually look bad (Ive tried going up a size and i think it just looks sloppy)? I don't want to fool myself into thinking it's a good look when it's really just the jeans by themselves that look good.

Post some pics. Hard to give advice on fit without them mate.

Yeah i plan on taking some. But i was thinking more in general terms whether they are designed to fit really closely or not.

yes some of my zatiny's fit much tighter in the thigh area than the skinny cuts. it's part of the cut's design IMO.

I agree with freerad up there, they are designed to have fairly tight thighs. There is also the new fanker which is a newer bootcut offered by Diesel but I don't the fit too well.

I have tried some New Fankers and yeah they don't agree with me. At least not the ones i tried.

Here is the Zatiny pic. Really love this wash. Doesn't look as good in any of the pics I've seen online as in real life (but i guess that's true for all washes).

You should try Thavar/Thanaz/Shioner or maybe even Tepphar and Sleenker.

I don't think he will be OK with such a small leg opening from current Zatiny fit ;-) If some I would suggest some tappering cut but not slim..., for example Krooley...

give larkee a try.

Looks fine. I just tried that cut on for the first time yesterday. What a nightmare. Could barley fit into them with my big thighs.

The aforementioned New Fankers. Sent the Zatiny's back. They were too tight from the start anyway. I'm having real trouble with objectivity about anything remotely slim on me. My own thinking is that there isn't a single even slim cut (all Diesel cuts are slim relative to my shape) that i can pull off. I don't want to be limited to just relaxed stuff though so I'm trying to be as get as much feedback as possible on other options before i give up entirely and just stay with relaxed cuts. It's frustrating because i would like to be able to pull off fairly closely fitting stuff (nothing skinny, just slim. And not because it's fashionable. I just think slim jeans look good on the people that have the right legs for it).

they don't look bad per say, but i'd untuck the shirt and there are other cuts that would look better IMO. give larkee or waykee a try.

I appreciate the feedback. It's really difficult to get objective feedback from anywhere else. And more specifically feedback from people that know what looks good.

I agree the untucked shirt would make the outfit look better, but overall, I think the jeans fit nicely.  I love my zatinys.  I think the tight fit on the thigh is what initially made me think I wouldn't like them, but I like them a lot now. My wife loves them on me too. I think you just have to get used to it if you're used to relaxed.  However, I would say that my larkees are probably my favorite.  If you want something that fits closely all over, I would give vikers a shot.

I do like the tightness. But unfortunately it appears my hips are too wide/legs too short for anything that closely fitting to look good.

Tried some Waykees, other Larkees (tried before) and Krooleys. Surprisingly Waykees suit my better than Larkee's, they don't fit at all like i expected actually. Even more surprisingly Krooleys seem to suit me even better than that. It's not a cut I'd ever wear but i just tried them on to see which cuts work and which don't. I think the Bravefort cut may work well for me but it looks like it's on the way out.

806W. I really like it personally. Also quite soft.
