Diesel Belther 828T, 2014 Spring/Summer Blue Eyecon Review & Fit Pics. - Page 2

My Belther 828t is L32 and it measures 107 roughly, so I can say the Japanese Diesel Online Store measures are accurate (rise+inseam are 26+81cm)

My opinion on lyocell, since I have the denim in my hands right now: lyocell makes the denim super soft, very nice at touch and it adds strenght at denim. I definetly like it.

When I purchased this jeans I had to choose between w30 and w31. I tought w31 was the right size and w30 was a bit thighter than expected but I picked the w30 and I was happy with my decision.

The jeans are a bit tight right now and they gonna stretch a little bit for sure for a perfect fit. In addition, Belther is a cut just a lil' more relaxed than a usuall skinny fit (which I most wear) and I dont think you should be worried about excessive stretching.

My 2 cents.

thank you a lot for your reply! Really helps and i really appreciate it! But other than that Im not that worried about excessive stretching rather than not stretching at all. Size W30 is about right, just a bit too tight on my bottom and the back of my thighs. That's what I'm worried about. Im worried that it won't stretch out enough for being perfect fitting. Because it feels a bit uncomfortable now.
AND sizing up to W31 is not an option as it is too big in the thighs and waist for me.

hello!  I'll get back to you about the measurements tonight when I get back home;

but from 3-4 times of wearing them I definitely feel like they have NOT stretched out too much.  They did stretch around the waist by maybe tiny bit i say less than 0.5'; and the thigh where it bends is stretch out tiny bit.  But other than that the jeans haven't stretched out that much unlike Kakkee 883w or Tepphar 804k.

Overall the thigh area also did not stretch all that much; i say 0.5' or less. the jeans certainly doesn't look saggy on me due to stretch.

I think you'll be safe w/ 30 based on your description; but can you sit down or walk stairs at w30??

Thank you for your reply as well! I would be really grateful if you send me the measurements later tonight. That would be great!

Other than that I can walk stairs and I can sit down, the only problem is that they feel thigh. I know it might sound different or strange to you but I have a Shioner 817H and it is in size W30 and it does not have that problem. Well, at first it was kind of stiff, but after 3 wears it definitely stretched out a bit and it become more comfortable for ducking(doing my shoe laces) and sitting. At first it wasn't my favourite pair of jeans to sit down with.

I would say that don't I like my jeans super thigh and that's why Im concerned. This is why I ran away from the Thavar because that fit is simply not for me! Especially the knee and thigh area... it's killing me. Shioner is much better and it even looks better on me.

But I am not sure about Belther. Looks awesome, but Im not so sure how it will fit me. And I would like to buy it from the italian guy Giamat_Shop from ebay. Because he has the best price as well. SO i don't want to get a pair and then return it and get another one. Although that if I don't like them, I might just return them and get Shioner 824Y instead. At least I know for sure what size I need. But the 824Y wash is nothing special to me. And 828T is my type of wash! It's just the cut that is bothering me :D

can anyone tell me how do these compare to 811p

and are these really washed( heavy contrast) on asos they look much better with less contrasting compared to the pictures here?

opinions will greatly appreciated

can anyone help me who has this wash?

The blue tone is completely different... 811P is a dark blue wash fading into very light... 828T isn't that dark at all...but fades also into very light. 828T is more destroyed... i wouldn't say these washes are very similar

My usual size is W31, my Belther 824E is W31 and fits perfectly. You guys, think this W30 with Lyocell can be fit ? They have a amazing look compared with W31..

WOW! W30 is a killer... these two look like 2 completetly different washcodes...

@vikd  - I have both 811p and 828T, and I gotta say they are not quite the same, as Relentless said 811p is electric blue washed into faded white.. the 828T is mdeidum blue with more yellow in there and is contrasty as shown in my photos.

@TiagoMendes - i have both Belther 824E and 828T; both in 28x30.  I say if you get 30 in 828T you will be quite tight and uncomfortable.  If you manage to do some squats to stretch them out that may work.  Given the photo you provided above however I would look for another pair of 31 in similar color tone of the 30.  the one is sz 30 is what 828T suppose to look like.

Please don't tell me after 888p, a new pursuit for the perfect pair in a given wash is comming...

Hey DC, great review! This is one of a couple of pairs I'm considering picking up ATM.

Did you ever measure the inseam? If it's 81cm as it says on Japan store this pair would be too short for me even in 34 icon_sad.gif If it runs long though it will be perfect. Even if you don't get to measure it could you just let me know if it runs long?

Also, if I normally go 31 waist in Tepphar and 32 in Thavar, which size would you recommend for this pair?

Thank you!

Hi Marziano,

Grab a pair of your own jeans that fit you perfectly (not too tight and not too loose). Or choose  stretchable Jeans, Stretchable Jeans are the epitome of style and comfort.

Thanks for that, they might be ok then. I might buy them in January and try them :)
