How to wash a pair of turbo denim

Hello everyone :)

So I own a pair of Koolter 8y9 (Turbo Denim) that i've worn for about 1 year or more now. I'd like to give it it's first wash.

I'm adressing to all the guys on here that got a pair of turbo denim, How did you wash it for the 1st time ? Did you respected the Diesel instructions for this pair  50/60 degrees machine wash inside out, go for a classic 30/40 degrees wash mashine "inside out" or put it in the bathtub with some detergent for about 30 minutes ?

Because i'd like to go for the "best" option to get a cool contrast/result on my pair but without stopping the "lighting" progression in the future worns after the wash.

Thanks in advance :)

I would check out some of the guides on youtube, generally a bathtub soak with detergent. I saw a guy with great contrast on his Tepphars that ocean washed them, I think it was on styleforum but I don't remember. Essentially for high contrast fades you want to keep as much indigo on the jean as possible, so washing it as gently as you can is the best way to go for that to happen. When you use a washing machine that agitates a lot you lose more indigo.

One year! I'd love to see pics!

i would def NOT machine wash them. buy some woolite detergent for dark clothes and use that. fill the tum warm to luke warm water and turn the denim inside out. immerse the jeans in the water fully and let soak for an hour. gently rinse and let hang dry. btw please post before and after pics when youre done!

Thanks for both answers ! I'm gonna follow your instructions. As for the pics, i'm gonna take some while wearing it outside with a good light and after, so you can see the difference. Probably some additional too, so you can see the details in close up :)
