Replay sizing compared to Diesel

Thread Starter

I have been looking at a couple of pairs of Replay jeans for purchase, but have never tried them on before.  Can anyone on the blog please advise me on how the waist sizes for Replay compare to Diesel waist sizes?  I wear 31W in almost all Diesel cuts.  thank you!

If you are looking at the slimmest cuts of Replay(Slimpar&Anbass) then you will most probably need size 33.

I was a Replay fan a while ago. Right now the only pair I have left is JETO which fits quite like Shioner does. So I wear size W32 in my Replay Jeto and for the Diesel Shioner I need size W30. So yeah. In my opinion you should go up 2 sizes from you regular size in Diesel.

If you are looking at Waiton or Jennon, then you probably need to size up just once, as they are neither slim in the waist, nor in the legs.

My most favorite cut of them all is the Anbass, as it fits my body structure quite fabulously :)

I Hope I was helpful, if you need more info, just let me know I would be happy to help you! :)

Totally right!

Replay jeans are also a lot shorter on the lenght.

A 34L its like a 32L in Diesel, sometimes even less, which is a problem to me (and that's the reason why I must try every Replay model before buying it).

One time I fitted into a 27w in diesel (thavar). I'm a 30. So replay jeans are true to size

Wow guys thanks so much for providing me your advice!  This is very helpful.

Straychev-- there are two jeans that I'm looking at.  One is Moresk and one is Anbass.  Can you please tell me what diesel cut Moresk is similar to?  Do you think I should size up one or two in Moresk?

Anbass sounds like it might be the better fit for me as I LOVE Thavar in Diesel.  Is this correct?  Should I size up 2 in this?

Loki-- your comment on length scares me.  the main reason that I'm looking at Replay is that I'm tall and need a 34 inch length jean. Diesel no longer carries 34L in many great washes.   Are some of Replays jeans 34 inches in length or are they usually shorter?  If they are shorter, then I should not buy them.

These are the jeans I'm looking at:

www.netclothing.net/replay-anbass-laser-blast-jean/

these are both gray washes as I can't find a gray wash in Diesel that's 34L.  thanks so much guys!!

Don't get too scared! Anbass especially is not meant to stack up like Thavar. Replay jeans are a bit shorter as they are not meant to stack up. My anbass was just perfectly right. I am 5'10" and I wear size W31L32 in Replay Anbass. I can tell you for sure as I had 2 pairs of Anbass(one not-stretchy and one that was stretchy)

I can't give you information about Moresk as it is a brand new cut. I believe it came out right after I stopped looking at Replay for jeans.(So that's maybe a year now). So I can't give you a more detailed information about that cut.

Anbass, on the other hand, fits quite like Tepphar. It is more roomy in the upper thighs, but very slim at the calves.

Depending on how tall you are, you will most probably be fine in a pair of L34 Replays. If you wear size W31 in Diesel, then I think the best size for you in Replay is size W33. It will fit close to the skin. Anbass fits me like a glove and I have to say I look stunning in it.

Other than that I believe that Moresk fits quite like Darron(i am not 100% sure for that one, I'm just guessing here)

I hope I was helpful. If you need anything more, just let me know, okay :)

Thank you & good luck, buddy! :)

Thanks very much for the details Straychev!  I am 75 inches or 190.5 cms. tall.  Fairly tall guy.  So you think I'm ok with a 34L?  My inseam measures 34L exactly.  Anbass sounds great as does Jeto.  Have you ever tried Lennrick before.  That looks more like a straight cut jean -- so pretty loose in the legs?  thanks!

Wow, you really are a tall guy. I am not 100% sure about the L34. I don't want to mislead you.

I have tried the Lenrcik and I have to say that in size W32 it was a bit too lose for me in the waist, but size W31 was too skinny on the other hand. So I am not a fan of this cut in particular. As I said, JETO fits more like Shioner(lower waist, slim legs and a bit of stacking)

And Im sorry but I can't compare the Lenrick to a Diesel cut. Maybe it fits more like Braddom, I'm not very sure.

I hope Im helping you out! :)
Just let me know when you make your final decision on what you will get, and post photos as well ;) :P

Yes you are very helpful.... Thanks very much for your advice on this. I think I'm just going to have to try it out and see if they fit. Anbass sounds like a great fit as does Jeto

Yep, no problem at all! It was my pleasure to help you out! :)
Other than that, i have to say that whatever you get you most probably like it, as they are nice and comfortable jeans! :)

Good luck :)

I am 1.85 cm high, and wear W30 L32 in Diesel tepphars and they fit perfectly.
I have one slimpar in W31 L32, and one jeto in the same size, which are quite short in my opinion. If i were you, i definetly would take L34!! In the waist it is hard to say.
The washes differs a lot, like Diesel do.

Hey bro, how is it possible for Anbass being 100% cotton.. isn't that uncomfortable? I saw some good washes in Anbass, and I like the cut, but i'm not sure about the 100% cotton..

To Tell you the truth I am wearing my JETO, which is 100% cotton right now. And i have to say that Replay's 100% is one of the most comfortable I've ever owned.

Anbass is very comfortable, they are not like Thavar(super thigh in the thighs and lose in the waist) so you won't feel uncomfortable.
And yes, Replay started making them only 100% cotton for idk what reason. They used to have them in 98% cotton + 2% elastane only.
Same was the pair I owned. Perfectly comfortable, but I gained some weight so couldn't fit in it anymore :)

I don't know how to make you feel positive about it. It really won't make you feel uncomfortable :)

Thanks for your reply man! Maybe I should try it in stores, or order from zalando :P I really dig some of the washes replay makes. And from the looks of it, I think Anbass is just a perfect cut for me.

Yeah yeah, 100% cotton in thavar is suicide for your legs :P

Replay is a nice brand. I feel like they have tried to copy Diesel for the last 2 years or so with their models and their washes and stuff. But other than that Replay is a great brand. Quality products. Very fashionable and up to the current trends :)
You should try some pairs on. My personal favourites are Anbass, Jeto & Waitom.

Some replay I bought to try out. First 1 is Jeto in 29, I can barely button up. Second is anbass 30, fits good.

hey, baltimore!

I have the same JETO, in the same wash! :) Nice one! Im sorry that it doesn't fit, maybe if you go one size up it will be perfect!
Other than that the ANBASS is my most favourite cut of all Replay cuts :)
Great buys! Im sure you also like and enjoy them :)

The jeto looks really awesome. I'm gonna check if they have it somewhere cheap in size 30w. I need to taper it. It has the same leg opening like thavar, but it fits more like Darron.

The anbass is really my cut. I'm gonna return these, I have some nice washes from new season on my list for anbass. Gonna wait for sale.

@baltimore do you wear 30L or 32L in diesel?

30L

Diesel 30L = replay 32L

Has anyone seen either of these 2 pairs in person?   The first one in particular looks kind of cool:
