eBay UK have removed the ability to search by Waist size

How ridiculous is this?

eBay in the UK have removed the "trouser size" option for searching for waist size in jeans meaning you have to trawl through hundreds of listings to find what you want.

I have complained but their response was this. "After conducting research, men want to be able to search by waist size so we have removed this option". Doesn't that contradict what people want? They said just type in "diesel jeans 29" and I will get what I want. I tried that and get all hundreds of results as 29L now comes up with huge waist sizes and no W29 listings.

Is it just eBay UK or is is worldwide? It would be great if everyone could contact eBay and put pressure on them to restore the waist size option.

I will continue to complain.

Hi Lee,

It's not so bad - You can search directly from the search field - for example, search for "thavar 29" and then you will get all the thavr on your size.

You can search everything like this "thavar 888p 28", "sonora M", etc.

I tried to search "Diesel Jeans 29" and I get 29 inch leg jeans rather than 29 inch waist jeans.

What other clothes websites remove the option of waist size? It's absolutely stupid!

If you search for diesel jeans 29, you will get to much listings.
Try to search more specific with cut name and you will get relvatives listings.

I hardly use ebay, but I see why people would get upset over this.I mean, they have to implement a better filtering system for the results, otherwise, there's little to no chance to find the product you're looking for.

I agree, this search function should never have been disabled. This will hurt the seller too, as prospective buyers will have a difficult time finding the item they want, thus leaving both the buyer and seller disappointed. However, I will say that many times sellers do not appropriately tag their listings, which leads to the problem of searching for "diesel 29" and instead getting listings for 29L or wrongfully listed jeans.
