Diesel Sleenker 824z fit pics from store & 1st impressions

Hi guys - so I went to the San Jose store today and finally got a chance to check out Sleenker 824z. I have been anxiously waiting for this pair and after seeing and trying it on I have mix emotions..

I tried on 2 pairs, 28x30 and 29x30. First off this pair is definitely different each pair. The two pairs I tried are noticeably different. Here are the photos for 28x30

This particular pair is much cleaner than the 29s (photos below).

As you can see the 29s are much much dirtier.. I am not sure which one I like yet... What do you guys think?

1st Impressions:
So when I tried them on first thing I noticed is how comfortable they are. They are stretchy and feels pretty much identical to jogg jeans in terms of comfort. They are probably one of the most comfortable pair I tried in a while.

They fit pretty much like how tepphars fit. Except like many of you have said they are not as low crotch and the back pocket has better position. It makes your bum looks more full compare to tepphars.

The color of these jeans are sorta medium darker blue (boarder line electric blue). But because of the abrasions and the paint splashes it's hard to tell. One super cool thing about this pair is it also have orange rust patina similar to 811p. But because the jean is so dirty it just adds to it. Which personally I think Diesel has done a fantastic job.

These jeans also have these fancy circular distress on the thighs. It's hard to explain it looks like they used some sort of small hooks and pulled out a bit of cotton. So these dots (or zits looking) distress adds super cool look in my opinion. And adds some texture to the jeans.

Overall, if you want a tight fit get your normal tepphar size... They are boarder line skinny legging fit. When I sized up to 29 they fit more to my liking, however now my waist is loose... So it's hard to decide.

Here's some more fine details of 29. To show how dirty the jeans are.

Great review DC. Both pairs look very different. As a personal preference i will go for a pair like 29's they look sweet. Last picture gives the best view of the jeans and the distressing is amazing. Size 28 is nice on you and they fit perfect. Thanks for pics and the review again. Always pleasure reading your reviews.

I think the first one 28 fits you better......Furthermore, the wash is better in the first one than the second which is too dirty.

BTW, amazing pair and fit and definitely in my wishlist

- Great review again boy ! ! !

Excellent review DC! Love the first pair but like the fit better on the second pair.

ok, here they are - the first fit pics in the net, that shows how the sleenker should be worn.

they look great, if i were you i would choose size 29. but you can't do anything wrong if

you choose the w28 either.

I mean, look at this fit pics in comparison to the fit pics of the model in diesel online shop.

Man - on diesel.com all new fit pics looks so horrible. not only the sleenkers.

Really scary...

i do not understand how the marketing departement choose those pics.

but back to your sleenkers - great fit, great wash. thumbs up !!!

^^totally agree about the models. All the jeans look horrendous. They all look too big for the models and hang weird on them. And the shoes are a disaster. Not a good look diesel, not a good look at all!

i like the wash on the 28s more but think the size 29s fit you better

SLEENKER IS EVOLUTION OF TEPPHAR AS THAVAR WAS EVOLUTION OF THANAZ, that's it :)

and once you have tried te^pphars (and, I suppose sleenker), you are reluctant to wear thavars and thanazs again...the stretch factor, the washes, the thiness of denim... BUT they have to fit you : slim guy, thin thighs... only a part of general population !!!

thanks for the suggestions guys..  This is one of those pairs that its different every pair.  So if you are to buy online you just gotta have your fingers crossed you either get a super dirty one or a more clean one.

They look a bit dirtier in person because of the rust orange patina which doesn't show up in photos.  but be sure to check it out in person if you guys have a chance.

pryv75 - hahaha yes.... but i find myself wearing shioners and thavar's more than my tepphar's simply just because my boots look ugly w/ tepphars for winter.. hahahaha.

@ dc,

Whichever size you decide to go with, just have the store staff bring you feel more pair to pick from. So you can get the one (dirty or none-dirty) you want. I mean you are that much $$ for it, might as well go with the one you like the most. Plus sometimes even the same size ones fits differently. I didn't that with my 823d, super happy with result.

hahahaha; yes that's true... i guess I need to decide if I want to fork out $328+tax for them yet.. or alternatively grab that rust red belther AND maybe pair of thavar 801c or something (i don't have electric blue jeans yet). hmmmmmmmmmm
