Difference between tepphar and sleenker ?

Hi everybody
What's the difference between these two cuts ?
I guess in looking pics that's the skeenker has more room in the thighs but is skinnier at the legs ?
Thanks

have not seen Sleenker in real life but I don't think there is more room in the thighs, as Tepphar is the carrot cut.
I think Tepphar will must have more room in the thighs.
I also read (on here somewhere) that Sleenker was not as skinny below the knee as Tepphar?

I tried sleenker 886Z yesterday. I own this wash in shioner and it's pretty much the same on the thigh and just a smidge slimmer on the calf and hem. It fits better on the waist than tepphar and nicer back pocket placement than tepphar. It's a nice cut actually.

Thanks for the info @ Phukette.

When I first read about them it sounded like they were similar to Tepphar and I thought it may signal the end for Tepphar.
Really hope not. I think Sleenker may replace Thavar in my personal collection, seems like they will be releasing a lot of interesting washes this season in Sleenker.

No worries mate. I think there is enough variance between the skinnier cuts now. They actually remind me a little bit like the skinnier models of thanaz except with stetch. 882H sprang to mind.

Thank you Phukette, this helps me as well! I really appreciate the information you are sharing with us!

I've too much time on my hands so I've compiled a set of measurements to compare tepphar, thavar and sleenker. These are all from W32 L32 jeans and are all unworn so no stretching. The thigh measurement is taken approx 2" down from the centre seam and across the thigh. These are approximated measurements that were taken in the exact same place on all jeans regardless of what the tag says about the cut, it seems tepphar and sleenker are almost identical.

Tepphar (820Q). Thavar(888P) Sleenker(605H)
Waist aligned: 17" 17" 17"
Front Rise: 11" 10" 10
Back Rise: 13" 14" 13"
Thigh: 11" 11" 11"
Knee: 8" 8" 8"
Hem: 6.25" 7" 6.25"
Length: 33" 33" 33"

Hmmm...it seems the editor won't allow me to submit in the format I intended but you get the gist. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

When i tried sleenker 824p i noticed:

- has narrower leg opening than tepphar

- fits narrower than tepphar under the knee

- same fit in the thighs

- tepphar has a little bit lower crotch

- sleenker fits better in the waist

I guess that fit will have few differences from wash to wash ....for example tepphar 881w is skinnier than tepphar 804k and sleenker 824p is skinnier than 886z

I agree, you'll find some will fit slimmer and some looser. This guide might help someone who is unsure as to what size to take. My advice having tried two sleenkers is get your tepphar size.

I have Tepphar 602M which has 3% elastane, do you think i should size down on Tepphar 820Q , i guess 20% elastane would stretch even more ?
