Didn't get what I ordered - return or result?

Ordered Thavar 888P - came with that tag but the label says Braddom 888P and they have Blue Eyecons 2012/1 Edition inside.

They fit nice and I like the wash but I am curious - is this a result, did I get shafted or somewhere in between? I paid just over £100 and they are new from a reputable site.

What's the name of the website you've ordered them from?

I want to see if I can get an answer to my question before giving more information but I have no concerns about the website - I have purchased from them a number of times and they are well-known here.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the question I have posted?

no.

That's awesome. Really helpful.

all u wanted was an answer so there's ur answer

yup @griff500 youre not being very helpful either.... is it a braddom or does it only have a braddom tag -therefore its just a "faulty" pair- ? if you like it, keep it. if you dont, contact the website and tell them what happened so you can arrange a return/refund or return and delivery of a thavar.

Ok, clearly not being understood.

I ordered Thavar. Braddom 888P have turned up but with a Thavar tag. Inside the jeans it says Blue Eyecons 2012/1 Edition.

The question is whether or not they have a greater or lesser value than the Thavar 888P that I had ordered. Nothing faulty about them - simply the wrong tag and wrong website listing.

Have I got a bargain, overpaid or no difference.

Hopefully that is clear.

freeradical82: there was nothing helpful about your answer. I moderate on a couple of forums and that is not how new members should be treated.

So basically you wanted Thavar but you have Braddom in the same wash. If you like them, keep them.

The cuts are completely different and if I ordered Thavar but Braddom turned up they would be going back.

Cheers leftvapor. As I mentioned, I am happy with the cut and tempted to keep them . I was trying to establish if they had the same value as the Thavar 888P.

Well I m gonna make a couple of suppositions here and say that you bought the pair from yoox and I want to ask are you sure it wasn't braddom you picked? It's not as if they give the cut names all the time. Either way, 888P came in braddom and thavar. There was little to no difference in price so you didn't get ripped off and 100 quid is cheap for them. So be happy with your purchase if you're happy with your purchase. No need to be coy about where you got em. Nobody's gonna sue ya!

Cheers Phukette, very helpful.

The listing states Thavar and yes, it is Yoox. The tag is for Thavar as well but they are Braddom (stated on the label inside the jeans).

http://www.yoox.com/uk/42313568OU/item?dept=denimmen#sts=sr_denimmen80_m&cod10=42313568OU&sizeId=

I wonder if they actually look like Braddom in the picture but they had been identified on the forum as Thavar 888P and the listing and the tag both say Thavar. Something odd has happened!

Probably a clerical error seen as yoox stocks returns and unsold items from stores. I can imagine that little mix ups like that happen, although this is a first I've heard. But you seem happy enough with them so enjoy! Oh and post some fit pics!

Either that or someone has been messing about with the tags. When I ordered my Tepphar 8W7 (30x30) from ASOS, they arrived with a 30x30 tag but had 31x32 printed on the inside of the waistband. I imagine some scammer had switched some tags and got himself a swap for correct size. I obviously returned them and credit to ASOS, they refunded me hassle free.

I had wondered if someone had done something like that. Currently waiting to find out if their stock is Thavar tagged Braddoms or if they actually do have the Thavar.

I think you know that isn't quite what happened - you were either being a smarta**e or just not being particularly clear with regard to which of my statements you were saying no to, but it's really not of any importance. It's just not the way I would respond to someone's question and certainly not when it was their first post on a forum but let's just put it down to a miscommunication.

Okay, guys, that's enough. No need to cyber-fight with each other. We are here to help each other, not to fall into deep and ugly debates. Knock it off.

Other than that, this seems very weird for me, especially coming from such a big company like YOOX. Im not saying it didn't happen and that we are insured when buying from big companies. It's just weird that it happened. And in my opinion you really should keep them if you like them and if they fit properly. So no need to worry and hassle :)

I was just clarifying but no problem - done. :-)

It is strange and I don't doubt that Yoox would deal with it appropriately. I'm going to find out from them if their stock is Thavar or Braddom but I am quite happy with what I have ended up with - sometimes mistakes turn out ok! I'll pop a picture up at some point.

I have a horrible feeling I will still want the Thavar in that wash at some point though, unless I can find something else in Thavar that I like as much.

@ Griff500 You should add some fit pics. May be we can help you whether to keep the Braddom or exchange it to Thavar. As straychev said we are here to help.

I'll try with some daylight - I just tried to take a couple of pictures and they look nothing like my eyes are seeing (although the iPhone camera might not be to blame)!

Minor update - I got a 20% refund for the inconvenience, so I've ended up with Braddom 888P for £87. Well done Yoox.

I'll pop up a picture when I get the chance.

Yoox gives a refund ????
