Diesel Spring/Summer 2014 SS14 - Page 37

so it comes in 2 diff washes?

Besides the boring washes what`s up with the polished shoes? They are hurting my eyes, seriously... i`m having a bad experience going through the collection seeing those, especially in combination with the 700 Euros jeans, who wears that? ....I don`t understand why they went from bare foot models to those ugly shoes, the only shoes they did wear it was with pants only and they`ve matched them properly.  I`m so confused right now about choises/changes Diesel is making :-|

has someone spotted the grey wash?

I went window shopping today and I went to my local Diesel seller. So they had some pretty nice new things. They had Belther 827F and some new t-shirts and jackets.

I tried the LALETA Leather Jacket. I gotta say I was stunned by the quality and most of all the fit of the jacket! AMAZING!!! I have been looking for a good-fitting leather jacket lately, but i haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. Now i have it. I just need to wait for a sale, as 460 euro is a bit too much for a student :D

it is. real leather. nice fitting. I really liked it. I am thinking about buying it if there is a mid-season sale in april :)
If not hopefully it will go on -50% at the end of summer. Would be perfect for the fall :)

theres so much hate this season for diesel, but regardless how bad it gets we all will still buy and be fans.

Renzo is about portraying an image, and he really love Nicola.  So i guess we better get use to it.  Here is a cool video I found.

(i personally like the new leather collection. except those joggs with the holes in them. lol)

Nicola made some dresses for lady gaga and I dont think that there are many fans of these clothes. I dont want to throw one more stone at Nicola. But his work doesnt inspire me. I'm not talking about the new diesel cuts, I like sleenker. But the general line of development of diesel, I do not like. But I still remain a fan of this brand in any way.

IMO.

i don't mean everyone will buy just because its diesel.  i mean there will always be something that people like and you'll still buy that one.

Hey, guys, does anyone of you know where is Tepphar 827Y? I can't seem to find it anywhere ... Diesel Online Store ... cultizm ... i guess its not out yet. But its probably the best Tepphar wash for this season. I just need to see more photos of it :)

Just caught up on this thread - definitely a lot of hate.

Having said that I dont think much has changed - the variance of design has always been evident, certainly during the time I have followed the brand (7-8 years). Diesel has always tried to make a statement with their deaign, and they always produce a large selection of pieces which are just too outrageous to be worn by normal people on ad ay to day basis. The biggest problem for me is the prices. It used to be that the upper price band for jeans would be £170-£190 (For example Thanaz 74K, Tepphar 881W, Thavar 8NE to name three), but we seem to be looking at £200 upwards. Prices slowly continue to rise and my worry is that Diesel will then only appeal to a limited market.

The denim was already overpriced. Here is a list of pairs I have seen in TKMaxx over the years, selling for £50 OR LESS ; Thanaz 74K, Thanaz 71B, Thanaz 8880L, Thavar 8880M and 880M, Thavar 8NE, Krooley 880W, Tepphar 881W and Some Vikers.

We will see where the brand goes. Im steering towards the more basic washes now as they tend to be more practical and........cheap! 😉

Isn't that funny : diesel models for the summer collection wear shoes when for winter they were barefoot ...

haha I don´t know what you all expect?! 100 pieces in one collection, every single one badass looking? ^^ It´s true that they have lost some of their street credibility (? :D) with some shitty and extremly overpriced pieces through the years, but overall they still do nice clothing.

I really miss the big campaignes like diesel island and the annual catwalk videos..
