Diesel Spring/Summer 2014 SS14 - Page 33

I think it's pretty simple actually; diesel pull x number of people and survey if they like shioner or tepphar and th answer is no. So there goes 2 of the popular cuts on this forum

this past week i bought two pairs of non-diesel jeans for the first time in 5 years. i think that really says something. diesel is taking a change in direction and i'm not sure i'm down for the ride. we will see. i thiink this next year is gonna be a make it or break time as it'll really show what that one lady gaga guy can (or cannot) do.

Who was the previous head designer?
I think it was renzo himself.

I'm looking at Replay and Scotch&Soda at the moment. For Diesel, ofcourse there are still some new washes I like, but there's also the money issue. Even after sale they are too expensive. 2-3 years ago, 210euro was the max for the best wash... now a wash like Thavar 818V is 250eu. dunno.gif

I have to agree with Baltimore on the dollars issue.  I'm checking out Replay also for the same reason.  They have some beautiful washes and very reasonable on the price side.   I'm still going to buy some Diesels, but maybe only 1 or 2 this season.

Same here! 1, 2 years ago i really bought a few washes every season. At the moment i'm struggling to find washes i want to pay that much money for. Saw Krayver 827X and Belther 828T Blue eyecons on saturday. Belther might be mine next week. But for me, the krayver is def. not worth 270 Euro. The wash is not even worth called a blue eyecone wash. I might get it on sale. We'll see.

I miss washes like 8x9, 8x1, 8y8,8y0 etc. The DNA and cool of coal era just blew me away

Man, I recall that the S/S main collection was launched online around January 25 last year. Today's February 11, and still nary a squeak. Wonder what's up with that? Hope we get to see some new jeans real soon, in any case.
